M&S beauty advent calendar unboxing!

I am not sure about the handcream. It seems very greasy. Perhaps better for drier hands than mine.

It is a good handcream but I recently bought a large tube. It may go in my travel stash..

I like today's, was glad to get some sort of makeup. Can someone please remind me of the shade of the mini lipstick we got last year? I loved mine but lost it and am going to buy myself the big version after someone mentioned it above.

Happy Christmas everyone. Today's offering will be given to my daughter in law. I do wear mascara but I'm loyal to the brand I always use and won't be changing.
All in all a lovely looking calendar but for me didn't really deliver.
Like a pp I bought it as a treat to myself as my son is away travelling and not home for Christmas.
Hits were the living proof hair styler which I have already ordered in the full size, the nail varnishes and the cow shed products.
I'd have liked some more makeup, a nice lipstick would have really lifted it.
Ah well there's always next year but it won't be an M&S one!

I did look at the product descriptions when they released this , I don't buy the calendars ( but that;s my choice , as it is everyones choice to buy it )

I remember the first one coming out and the first thread ( how many years ago was that ) they were also much more affordable .
The contents were good but I guess some things are repeated due to cost and new buyers are enticed .
The year we have Covid , M&S didn't do one and they were missed .

It is sad that a lot of buyers won;t buy M&S next year but it does sound like they;ve lost the plot .
I quite like the kits they did ( usually their own brand skin care ) which were a good try-me

Another item of makeup i don't usually use and neither does DD so she's not getting it this time.

The funny thing is that in my teens I wouldn't leave the house without mascara and eyeliner. Perhaps it's a hint

The Clinique one was 02 Bare Pop, I think.
