Hi - late to this year's party! I've had a really stressful first week of December and actually forgot to open a couple of days from this calendar.
And I'm 'glad' that I'm in good company, thinking it's very underwhelming so far! 😐Last year's was my third M&S in a row and I felt the novelty was starting to wear off (I'm not really a consumer of pamper products but have found M&S calendars a good way to try things out and then follow up) but it was good. As someone posted recently, by this stage we'd had an amazing haul, and thinking back, at least 4 of those are things I've bought again since.
I already have pretty much ALL the Philip Kingsley hair tubes I've ever had out of an M&S! 😂 Agree: too much of a faff to pre-remember that you need extra shower time or to sit around with wet hair. The Aveda one is nice but I still had the last bit in last year's tube, in the shower rack.
Sorry to vanilla fans but that perfume made me feel a bit unwell. It's being offered to someone with a teenage girl as a stocking filler! Ditto the varnishes - strong agree that the nude shade makes you look dead, and I'm not a fan of blood-red nails (always makes me look down at my feet in confusion because I think I've injured myself!) and in any case I work with my hands a lot in a very messy craft and the nails are completely buggered!
So far, the shower gel is ok for me. I like Clinique so I'll give that a whirl. The tiny tub of facial moisturiser is ... ok? I've been using it instead of usual Oil of Olay and no breakouts, at any rate. Today's shampoo - I don't have coloured hair, will I get any benefit or is it best regifted too? At this rate I'm going to be keeping about 1/5 of the calendar!
