My first beauty advent calendar! MS was recommended by Mumsnet and it was a fab price. I'm going to put money away each month next year to get the ultimate Jo Malone one!
Love floral street fragrances. Teenaged daughter is already eyeing up one of the products in the lovely velvet bag. Will be interesting to see what she tries to swipe.

Got one last year and gifted most of the stuff and still got some left l didn't use .
Rather buy what l like and use.
Wasn't impressed.

I've received M&S as a birthday gift (just back from holiday last night and only opened gifts today, so a bit of a surprise to be joining you all and not had M&S previously but looking forward to it).

The little case is nice enough and will be useful storage addition.

The perfume Wild Vanilla Orchid isn't for me but is a handy size and will easily find a good home for it.

Just opened box 1. I'm a long timer with the M&S advent calendars. Lovely case this year.

I am slightly disappointed with today's perfume. Day 1 is usually a bit special and this perfume is nice enough but not great.

But I'm sure, as a whole, I will be happy with the contents as we get further into December.

Hello all. I was a bit disappointed with the perfume today. Knew when I read "vanilla" it would be too sweet for me.

BUT, lots of lovely things to look forward to. I always pass on the bits I don't love to my DS's gfs, along with bits from other beauty boxes and so on...they love having a dip in the bag I keep these products in. They are both students and very appreciative of these so it brings an extra little bit of Christmas fun.

My 14 yo daughter and I are sharing this year's. She passed on this perfume. I really like it as I suit a sweet vanilla. I'm always up for small bottles of scent I can take in hand baggage on holiday. Hopefully tomorrow's will suit her better.

Lovely case for this year. I’m very fussy about perfumes but dear God the perfume is foul, instant headache. I’m sharing with DD so maybe she’ll like it.

I've had every M&S beauty advent since they started and they're always enjoyable and decent value

I usually love vanilla scents but this one is a little strong for me.
I loved last year’s and still use the elf eyebrow gel and lip gloss!
Hoping for an elasticiser in this years again 🤞🏼

I love this perfume! Already have a large bottle so will put this in my handbag or save for when the big one runs out. Interesting to hear some people find it too sweet as I wouldn’t describe it as sweet on me…it’s interesting how different the same perfume can smell on different people.

I’m another one who’s pleased with the case, not quite sure what I’ll use it for, but I’ll find something!

I liked this - it was strong at first but first smelled lovely once it 'settled in'. Excited to see what else is in store 😍

I like today's, just a bit disappointed that it's something I've had before in an AC. It's a lovely smell, though, and I've nearly finished last year's, so it will be used. Hoping for something new to me tomorrow.

I have to say the scent has lasted much longer than the Shay and Blue ones usually do.

I'm probably being really cheeky, but I'd love to get myself one next year, would someone mind posting a photo of the contents so i can see if it's worth getting?

The scent has definitely settled and I like it now. Nearly gave it to DD earlier as fund it very cloying.

I was having a nosey though the boxes a few weeks ago, mainly just to check they were all present but then couldn't fit them back into the case, so shoved it into my wardrobe for December😂
I quite like the vanilla perfume, only just sprayed it so will see how it transforms.

I like this perfume, in fact, I already had a bottle of it on the go, so in a way I wish it was a different one. I wouldn't say it's particularly sweet, but it's quite rich and warm. Nice for the winter.

Only just remembered to open box 1. I've been out all day and completely forgot..

I haven't sprayed yet as too late for perfume and it might keep me awake... so will try in the morning.... but im thinking this is a good start and I'm also loving the velvet case.

Day 2 - happy with that. Classic red, can't go wrong with.
I haven't tried Nails inc before.

Great colour polish. Mine are SNS at the moment, but I will be soaking them off in new year (COL) so this will get used.

Lovely colour. Great for Xmas 🎄
