* Please avoid dropping hints or spoilers about future contents if you have opened the calendar in advance. * (Edited at request of the OP by MNHQ)

It is one sleep away! We’ve all been very patient, since Liberty London revealed their advent calendar in June this year.

Reveals from 7am GMT each morning please. This is to harmonise discussion/shift work/different time zones.

I love Vilhelm perfumes (I purchased a full size peony couture that we had previously and use it in the summer).
So far I like this on my skin but too soon to decide.

ninja · 23/12/2024 12:29

How do you open it?

ninja · 23/12/2024 12:30

Never mind - worked it out! I like it at first sniff :) the perfumes are the most exciting thing for me

I’ve hovered over the add button on peony couture so many times. The one time I was going to do it it was out of stock. I may use my credit and the candle voucher to invest.

mynameiscalypso · 23/12/2024 15:07

I don't mind this perfume, it has more staying power than some others we've had. I had Dear Polly before - maybe in last year's JL calendar? - which I think I prefer but generally a fan of Vilhelm.

goingslightlyinsane · 23/12/2024 09:26

I love this perfume, I really love this brand. Unfortunately the squirt bit is stuck in the lid so I can't use it!
I don't think I have any old ones knocking around either I think I have used them and chucked them! Confused

Take a photo and send it to customer services. They will send you a new one x

Bumblebeehum · 23/12/2024 16:33

I managed to smash the Day 19 perfume (by accident) and customer service said they’d send a new one (even though I’d dropped it). They’ll definitely replace a faulty one!

Isabelle70 · 23/12/2024 18:06

@goingslightlyinsane certainly send a message to customer service, I did only last month for a perfume from last year's calendar and as they had no stock I received a £10 voucher.
I then managed to remove the top with some pliers and decanted the perfume into some cheap atomisers from Amazon.

BlueberryBelle · 23/12/2024 18:12

Has anyone received their £25 voucher from Liberty after the email sent? Nothing here yet.

Yes. A day or two after the original email.

AnneShirleysNewDress · 23/12/2024 21:52

I got mine on Friday @BlueberryBelle.

Wherethewildthingsfart · 23/12/2024 21:56

Damn it, I think today’s is going to be a favourite ! I didn’t want to like any of the perfumes enough to buy them. 100ml is over £200.Sad

I’m desperate for them to do Peony Couture in a smaller size. I’m eking out my 10ml from the 2022 calendar! Maybe I’ll give in to the 100ml eventually.

supadupapupascupa · 23/12/2024 22:54

I'm a sucker for this brand. Wearing darling Nikki today (it's like Christmas in a bottle) I have peony couture for summer, and got Moon Carnival coming for Xmas. Don't like the bottles though, they are too big (the full size ones). I do NOT need to fall for another one!!!!!!!

BlueLurker · 23/12/2024 22:54

Always love Vilhelm, very happy to get another one (another Moon Carnival fan!) That said, this is definitely my least favourite of theirs so far - hoping it’ll grow on me - everything else has been love at first sniff, so to speak. The complexity is part of the fun and is what I love so much about their scents, it really develops over a few hours. Also love the bottle design and their general brand aesthetic.

SlightlyJaded · 24/12/2024 01:04

First thing I've actively disliked. The perfume smells of hot rubber and diesel to me. I've had it on for a few hours hoping it would settle but I can't get on with it.

Happy to do a swap if anyone has fallen in love with it.

secretbumworms · 24/12/2024 07:56

Oh. I think todays is really disappointing to say that it's Christmas Eve.

GreatFinch · 24/12/2024 08:21

I like it, I assume it's to help us sleep well so Santa can come.

Is there anything you would like for the swap?

BakeOffRewatch · 24/12/2024 08:30

Day 24! Christmas Eve. Gosh that’s come quick.

OTO Sleep Soundly Pillow Mist 50ml and Sound Scape FULL SIZE
Value £42 (though discounted on many sites to £32)

Link to the soundscape, I’m not sure of the value. It’s 1.5 hours long. I’m a connoisseur of 8 hour baby white noise so my expectations are high.

This was one of my DODs, so I took it out when I received the AC. I then ended up using it when I was full term and found it hard to fall asleep and was also waking quite often. It is really nice. I’m not sure how much more effective it was than a few drops of lavender essential oil, but at least I didn’t have to buy it.

Maybe that is one your DH kept for himself and hoped you wouldn’t notice @Netaporter

Ps I swear by the ‘This works deep sleep pillow spray’ which is awesome so will be interested to see how this one fares!

nearly61 · 24/12/2024 08:47

I'm a perfume at night wearer so this is a bit hmm for me. Might have to try a night or two without my beloved spritz prior to bed, would be worth it if this does indeed aid sleep. Or might just save for the (hoping here) swap thread in Jan! But I do think the Liberty thinking is clever for Christmas Eve and it must be so hard to think of suitable things to put in for today and tomorrow, given all the truly lovely things we've already had!
I'm really very pleased I plumped for Liberty this year and I very much hope, on balance, that all you lovely folk feel the same.
