I want to smell amazing

I'm off to a work conference soon - can anyone recommend me a perfume that will be strong and will make people think "ooh she smells amazing" I hardly ever get that comment. I want to make an impression and my work crush is going to be there

I get a lot of people commenting (positively!) when I wear Champs Elysees by Guerlain.

Flowerbomb by viktor and rolf is nice and powerful.

Estée Lauder Pleasures and I can smell it on myself which is bonus as often I can’t with most other perfumes.

I wore that today.

I'm never sure if any perfume I wear overpowers others but I like wearing it.

Thanks for the ideas! I loved Cinnabar back in the day, and wear Shalimar in winter now, but it's not lasting like it used to (I think a lot of perfumes have gone that way).

I love strong perfume. I love meeting friends and as a new one walks in they all smell lovely. I always loved being out in bars and people walking past (both men and women) and getting a good waft, instantly makes me think people have made an effort. I put on loads. I also layer it. I put it on when I’m wet when I get out the shower and then put more on just as I leave.

Whenever I put a drop of geranium essential oil somewhere on my clothing I literally have a number of people say "you smell amazing/incredible". Every single time! So try that! I usually put one drop in each armpit and then the warmness of the armpits diffuses the smell outwards! Lots cheaper than perfume. Make sure you get proper essential oil though. It is such an amazing scent.

I also really like the Fairy Dust powder from Lush, it’s usually limited edition around this time of year. You just rub some on your skin, it’s slightly shimmery, and it smells really sweet and amazing. My DH loves when I use it and it’s more subtle than perfume.

Go to the chippy beforehand and wire into a bag of chips. Everyone loves chips, OP. It's foolproof.

It really depends on what sort of scents he likes.

My dp always likes when I wear PDM valaya don’t spray too liberally as it is very strong.

I always get a lot of compliments on Burberry Goddess (the original), Gris dior (only every had samples of these though so only works couple of times), Burberry her elixir, Tom Ford velvet orchid.

Most of the Kayali ones are nice, but again depends on what you want to smell like.

God you can't outdo the conference food, such a faux pas.

Halfeti is the best of those mentioned but I’ve recently discovered Zielinski and Rosen and it’s the most gorgeous scent ever. Black pepper and neroli.
