We still have a few weeks to go but we are up to thread 6.

Will we get any good Black Friday discounts?

Does anyone have any predictions for further BF offers over the next couple of weeks?

I am very tempted by the good offer on Estée Lauder ANR serums at EL and also by the 20% off on Hourglass eyeshadow at Sephora. But I just know that if I buy now, there’ll be an even better deal next week🙀. Did Cult Beauty do good reductions last BF? (I think someone mentioned 3 4 2 or 30% off ???)

Interesting that the LF advent calendar has come back in stock so late, (after the same thing happened with SpaceNK last week). I am wondering if we will see any other calendars make a mysterious comeback between now and next week.

I have visions of someone opening a cupboard at LF and at SpaceNK headquarters respectively, finding a load of forgotten advent calendars and thinking ‘Oops!’

Edited

More like, we kept these back for the last-minuters?

pinkchampagne1 · 19/11/2024 07:14

I couldn’t see the Look Fantastic advent on their site so assume it has gone again

The Lumene cocktail serum that was in the JL calendar a few years back is down to £10 (from £36) in the Boots £10 Tuesday deal

nooooo you enabler!

I missed the one last week so jumped to bag the nordic berry cocktail today. Also a £10 moisturiser that was more than £20 which is nice.

Justified it by buying a Ted Baker set for one of the DSs :)

MoiraRoseForever · 19/11/2024 08:04

Heads up that Boots has some Lumene in their £10 Tuesday . Good reduction so sells out quick .

pinkchampagne1 · 19/11/2024 08:04

😂 It was too good a deal to pass on. I ordered one too, despite having quite a stash of serums. I ordered the moisturiser too and a couple of No 7 sets.

Cross posted te Lumene ! I just got some !

pinkchampagne1 · 19/11/2024 08:15

It’s such a good deal isn’t it? I got the other vitamin C serum last week in the £10 Tuesday. Silly to pass when such a good price 🙂

Puravida23 · 19/11/2024 08:44

I like your thinking @pinkchampagne1 . I have just ordered some myself too. And thank you to the poster who informed me Boots do rewards ( I had no idea!) so got it with a further 10% off

OvaHere · 19/11/2024 09:26

Arrgh you've all enabled me and I bought the cocktail serum plus the moisturiser!

Also bought a Superdry gift set as an xmas pressie as I had a £5 off a £30 spend loaded on my card so I got all three for £25.

A bargain but I absolutely didn't need another serum or moisturiser. 😳

LemonZesty · 19/11/2024 10:15

Cult Beauty have a nice fragrance GWP with £80 spend. TopCashBack doing 7.65% on CB fragrance purchases today.

.. and if anyone is interested in that offer CBAFF15 gives 15% off some fragrances but not all.

OvaHere · 19/11/2024 11:04

Is this a new GWP? I don't remember seeing it before. It's a £175 min spend but I guess if you were planning to buy a couple of perfumes of other higher priced items for xmas anyway then it's a freebie on top.

Thank you! Loved that from JL and a great price. Also bought The Ordinary Cleanser Discovery Set.

clary · 19/11/2024 13:19

Lol at us all sweeping up the Boots bargain :) I was also tempted by The Ordinary set but resisted

Branster · 19/11/2024 14:41

@MrsBnow12 I can't find my book!
So I googled various word combinations and found the exercise in this link under Neck Lift, it is the exact same one.
I remember it was quite difficult when I tried it and resolved to invest in lots of scarves should the need arise.
If you intend to loose any kind of weight for aesthetic surgery, I'm thinking a slow gradual process might be better, so that it doesn't get worse. Neck skin is tricky because it's quite dry and, I can't remember where I read, tretinoin doesn't work that well in that area.
Although I've never used them, I saw a lot of reviews mentioning Beauty Pie and Prai neck creams in a positive light. I think StriVectin do a well reviewed neck cream as well.

As the Hourglass pusher on these threads, I’ve just seen that they’re doing a 20% off everything plus gift with £125 of purchase for BF. In case people wanted a wider range to choose from than available at the other retailers.

I’m seriously tempted by more eyeshadow sticks as the one I have is so brilliant.

Thank you @Doubleraspberry i’ll have a look. Are the eyeshadow sticks much better than the likes of Laura Mercier and Bobbi Brown versions?

Doubleraspberry · 19/11/2024 17:03

I’ve never tried either of those I’m afraid. They leave Charlotte Tilbury in the dust though.

MrsBnow12 · 19/11/2024 17:41

@Branster Thank you so much for the information and links..loads of reading and research for me to do.
I did try Prai but didn’t like the scent so have been using StriVectin which helps but am hoping for something more long term.
I am hoping someone brings out an at home device at some point but hope the exercises and creams help as I continue on my weight loss journey.

I have fallen in love with Hourglass after your recommendations ans have an ambient pallet and some brushes. Am hoping to visit a counter when in London to get a shade match to try their foundation.
Having just bought a VB eyeliner and got the free eyeshadow stick I really need to stay away from Hourglass next week!
