Boots website is down for me, it’s so poor during busy times

Charlotte Tilbury calendar is 15% off at JL. Still too expensive for what it is though imo.

Looks like all the big multi brands have sold out except for LiB.

Speaking of Charlotte Tilbury, has anyone tried her face creams? I’m wondering which is best between the original magic cream and the water magic cream?

I haven't tried it but my DD really likes it. Usually water creams are a bit lighter and more suitable for oily skin or if you want less richness generally.

Not sure if it will go any lower than that. It's not a very inspiring selection to me and I already have a few of the items from other AC's.

I like the magic cream, it's also good as a base for makeup. Don't like the water cream as much

I've tried the original and I didn't like it. I got a sample from somewhere. Just found it greasy, I tried using it as a night cream but it wasn't rich enough for that. I can't describe the texture, it's not quite like Vaseline but it's really thick. If you can try a sample before committing I would.

I find the texture very similar to Nivea cold cream. It didn’t do anything special for my skin - we’re all different but for the price there are definitely better options.

Has anyone who ordered yesterday received the Lumene calendar?

It was meant to be next day delivery, but although there's a tracking number on the website, I haven't had a dispatch notice and my DPD link is still at the 'we are expecting a parcel' stage.

@IDontKnowWhatYouMean Mine is showing the same and I couldn’t decide if the DPD email was a scam as said from Fulfillment Centre, mystery solved and hopefully it will arrive in the next few days.

Hello new thread! Sorry if this has been asked but has anyone bought the Best of Beauty box from Boots?? It's £88 with 26 things in it and looks really good!

DPD has my parcel now (still no email though) - presumably I'll get it tomorrow 😀

I think it looks really good for the price. Could work well to fill an old advent calendar if anyone is still looking to do this.

Scratch that! Had a random email from 'Fullers Fulfillment' and that's definitely it. It's en route and should be here tomorrow.

I have received both in advent/beauty boxes but was thinking of selling one as I have lots of creams to work through already. I will try to get to a store to test them both, though previously I was unable to get samples, I might get an idea of which will be best for me just from a sweep on my hand in store

Sorry to derail again, but as I know some of you will have received/used the same products recently, I’m also wondering about exfoliator, but for my adult DS.
I’ve got Kate Somerville liquid ExfoliKate, and Paula’s choice exfoliate in my haul (likely others but these stood out), any thoughts on which, if any, of these would be best for his acne prone skin?

In other news, my Space NK fragrance calendar is due to be delivered tomorrow!

They sent me that and then withdrew it and offered £34 off. The code offering £58 off didn't work!

I personally prefer the Kate Somerville, but salicylic acid is meant to be best for acne so if it's the Paula's Choice BHA I'd go with that.

Just bought it. Boots are bringing out a few of these lately, maybe trying to fill thd gap left by those who didn't get one of the sold out calendars in time.
Will bung half of it on ebay and keep the rest for me/DD not that we need any more.

@IDontHateRainbows I just bought it too!! Even though I already have two advent calendars already 😳 BUT it's my birthday soon so it's a happy bday to me gift!!

I think it is better than their advents and love the eye shadow template….am hoping it sells out before it finds a way into my basket.

The boots box looks great for the price. If it had come out earlier, it would have been a contender for DD’s advent.

The large size bum bum and elemis cleansing balm are worth probably half the calendar alone! Definitely a decent deal, will be surprised if it doesn't sell out soon so you may be safe sleeves
