We still have a few weeks to go but we are up to thread 6.

Will we get any good Black Friday discounts?

The wording clearly states the brand so maybe it's different!

Caramelandsalt · 11/11/2024 13:17

I know mumsnetters don't like the daily mail , but their You advent is £75 and REWARDS20 should take £20 off . I don't think the code is specific to my e mail . Haven't looked at it properly but if it the code does make it £55 it's more affordable, especially if it's a gift

Caramelandsalt · 11/11/2024 13:20

Scrap that , it's £75 with the code . The e mail was a bit ambiguous

QueefofSheena · 11/11/2024 13:51

I bought another LF perfume edit with the £55 voucher earlier in the year. It included L’Interdit and I used the voucher towards a Givenchy Irresistible gift set, so I’m hoping it will let me use it for a different product in the same brand again. The set is coming tomorrow but I don’t have the voucher yet by email.

IDontHateRainbows · 11/11/2024 14:27

MiaN · 11/11/2024 12:57

Last time I got cot out with this. It's, only redeemable against the specific perfumes in the edit, not by the whole brand range. It could be different this time but that's how they usually are set up. Do let us know if you are able to order different Replica perfume, that will be good offer

Edited

I think with the previous one it was reedemable against the whole brand as I used the voucher to buy some Givenchy prisme libre (face powder) definitely not fragrance.

MiaN · 11/11/2024 14:34

I bought fragrance edit in March and didn't work on any of the perfumes from the brands! I end up getting valentino green stravaganza for my niece to make use of the voucher as I could not at the time use it for different perfume. It is much better offer if its the whole brand. Please report back on how it works this time as I will be tempted if I know for certain

GingerLemonTea · 11/11/2024 15:04

What does DOD mean?

IlovePond · 11/11/2024 15:08

Drawer(s) of Doom @GingerLemonTea

Stowickthevast · 11/11/2024 15:17

Oh I'm tempted by the Lumene - I had the Arctic Berry oil last year which I liked.

I'm not sure whether to go for this or hold out for a GWP. Do we think there will be more requested before the end of the year? Has Liberty done theirs yet?!

Drawer/Door of Disappointment

GingerLemonTea · 11/11/2024 15:47

Aha, thank you. Hopefully not too many DODs. I have ordered the Boots Limited Edition one which I got for £76. Am still eyeing up the Next crackers as I would use everything in this one

Though still have lots of products from previous AC & beauty boxes. Think I enjoy buying and having more than using which is silly.

IlovePond · 11/11/2024 16:33

@GingerLemonTea - those Next crackers look lovely. I’d like a couple myself.

BTW:

I found this deal on another thread:

If you download the ELF app and join the Rewards scheme, you get £10 off a £15 spend, plus free delivery.

No codes needed. Good for DIY calendars/stocking fillers.

IDontKnowWhatYouMean · 11/11/2024 16:35

I've caved in and bought the Lumene calendar. It stacks with a further 20% code, plus there's free next day delivery worth £8.95, so I've gone for it - £56 incl shipping.

I bought it on 29/11 last year for £53.xx (delivery email said it was scheduled to arrive 2 - 4 Dec), so at £56 with free next day delivery, I'm happy to get it early this year for a similar price.

QueefofSheena · 11/11/2024 16:43

So the LF code doesn’t work with other Replica, weird as it worked before. I’m getting By the Fireplace anyway but hopefully no one else has tried it 😬

Just to add to this, if you are applicable for Bluelight or student discounts, you can also stack an offer for that (sorry I need to
learn how to do the links!)

Thanks for the info @Thelifeofawife

I am actually eligible for a BL card, but annoyingly I paid for it, then they wrote back and asked for more ID. Couldn’t really send them anything else and have lacked the energy to chase them up. (I should get round to it as giving them free money has annoyed me 😹)

Hi, how did you get the extra 20% -was it through the app? I'm looking at probably the lumene and the nuxe so if I can get them down a bit more that would be ace!

MonkeyTennis34 · 11/11/2024 16:58

@MiaN
You're right, it IS just for those specific fragrances but DS2 loves By the Fireplace so it's a good deal for me.

IlovePond · 11/11/2024 17:08

I’ve been tempted by the Lumene a/c - that’s a good deal @IDontKnowWhatYouMean

Meanwhile, I am half sad/half pleased that I let SpaceNK go again. I bought the mini Hourglass palette from eBay instead - that and the Tacha serum were the things I most wanted to try, (plus the SR, but I am currently obsessed with my ALDI dupe of that, so not bothered about the real thing atm).

Same here, I’m getting By the Fireplace but I’m going to query the wording with LF, just for the hell of it

HollyGolightly4 · 11/11/2024 17:28

@IlovePond I had the same, uploaded the same id yesterday and it was accepted!

IlovePond · 11/11/2024 17:40

Thanks @HollyGolightly4 - I really must chase it up!

I’ve downloaded the app but none of this has happened. Is there a code to use?

IlovePond · 11/11/2024 17:55

Have you looked in the Rewards section @Doubleraspberry ?

It was working for me at 4pm today. They may have stopped it, but I think some people’s took a while to load.

IlovePond · 11/11/2024 18:06

I am so sorry @Doubleraspberry - people on the other thread are saying the ELF offer has stopped working. It looks like it ended sometime between 4.15pm when my order went through and whenever you tried.
