Re: a/c - if anyone is near York, McArthur Glen Rituals had the 2022 a/c for £60, (same as Bicester), and the 2023 light up village for £85, (which I think was cheaper than Bicester).

They won’t ship, though, (I asked).

Anyone trying to get the M&S one? It’s going through at full price😩

I have just tried getting M&S one with a lot of shopping but it is charging me £315 and not giving the discount. Not sure why

I've just bought M&S so I'm sorted for this year!

Heads up that the Rituals gold Christmas tree calendar being sold in the McArthur Glen outlets are different from the 2022 version being sold (in the UK) I got both and the products were completely different. The outlet ones were all much smaller sizes and I felt a bit ripped off even at the discount price 😕

It stayed up past midnight as well, but gave up at 12:15 when I realised M & S hadn't set their computer systems up properly to change over. Annoying as.

Anyway, had my basket ready to go, changed my mind overnight about which top I really wanted, and switched it out this morning before ordering. So it all worked out in the end.

M&S seem to have this same calendar issue every single year. You’d think they’d have figured it out by now!

@itsnothingoriginal - thanks for the info. Rituals have helpfully put all the contents of each a/c in a clear box on the side in store so people can see what’s inside.

Does anyone know if the M and S one is worth the price? It seems to have shot up.

Lots of hair products and the leg mist in this year’s @EachandEveryone - in previous years there’s been a wider range of better products, Clinique moisturisers for example. The FS perfume is a good addition, but otherwise it’s a bit ‘meh’ for me. Good bag, though.

I am holding firm for now, but may crack!

I think M&S would make a good gift for someone who hasn't themselves gone into the AC/Beauty Box rabbit hole. I already have some of the products or a close version of them so whilst it's good value at £50 with a nice bag at this point for me it would just be more stuff to work my way through.

I think now unless there are some massive reductions on the remaining high end calendars I'm probably done for this year.

On a tangent I had an email this morning about Cult Beauty Drunk Elephant Holiday sets. A bizarrely expensive one for £575 that comes in an actual suitcase. There's also a couple for £99 which are probably a saving and a good way to try a few things and then there's a small set at around £50.

I wobbled at the £50 price purely because some items are small or dods but then my husband pointed out that its £2 per item and that i should just go for it (assuming you were going to spend the £35 at M&S anyway)

I think the M&S one os short on any big hitters - no skincare really? Otoh in the past I have bought it for gifts and in fact I think it’s pretty good for that this year – a lot of decent sizes, for example the Color Wow shampoo and conditioner would make a nice present.

The items I would keep are the FS fragrance which sounds nice, This Works which I love, and the Clinique Take the Day Off. Tbf those three alone are worth the asking price of £50 aren’t they? Just need to add in Christmas undies for everyone lol.

Going away for 10 days from today….will the M and S still be available when I get back?

I've just seen on hot deals that the m&s calendar stacks with other offers. So buy 2 Nuxe items, get a free beauty bag from them apparently worth £29 & then the calendar too. Seems decent

I don't think it sells that quickly. I remember it being in store for a while last year

@BeensOnToost . Same here I think pushing it to £50 has definately changed my mindset . I am hanging on I might pop into town tomorrow to see if M&S have one on display so I can see the sizes etc and I am hoping there may be some unboxing on YouTube and I will see then how I feel.
It is usually in the shops for a few weeks so hoping it doesn’t sell out really quickly
