I know it's early!!!!!! But I've been invited to quite a fancy Xmas event and I always just feel like I look a bit basic....so planning ahead.

I'm quite petite, about 5'1 in height and kind of an inverted triangular shape. Generally slim

What kind of event is it? A party, a dinner, a carol service? Indoors or outdoors? What's your budget?

I'd wear both with sheer tights and high heels (but I'm a lot older than you and dresses can be styled in lots of different ways)

It’s probably a little early for all the Christmas clothes to be in store but Never Fully Dressed and Ro & Zo have great petite ranges. This dress is stunning.

I've bought this one, lovely thick velvet and in the sale!

@bevelino Hahaha. I'm honestly so confused by this dress. I've sent the link to so many people asking if they understand it. Everyone's been equally confused.

I wouldn't say I'm particularly boring when it comes to fashion, and have quite a few statement pieces. But I don't get it?!
