Pelegrims quarterly subscription box

Very excited to be creating this thread to discuss the Pelegrims subscription box - my first one arrived today!

My box also due towards end of month.

I would also like to try the SPF Oil, diffuser and perhaps the lip balm (I don’t want the hand pomade that comes in the toothpaste like tube as I dont like that type of tube as I find top etc fiddly )

@Beautyfox I love the handwash – it smells beautiful. The hand pomade is also great.

@BeaLola we got the lip balm in a previous box and I really didn't get on with it. It seemed to make my lips really dry weirdly. It's one of the few Pelegrim's products I don't like!

My payment was taken today so hopefully my box will be on the way soon. Fingers crossed! No idea what to expect with this one.

I don't think I've paid yet but have had the email saying it's upcoming. I think it will have some skincare as there wasn't any (or very little) last time.

My box arrived today and I'm happy with it. 😊

Mine has arrived. I really like this box. Great fit for me.

I have only opened the box but it’s up there as a favourite ( favourite to date was the one with the facial serum oil in)

So looking forward to trying …..

My box won’t arrive until Monday. 😡 Should have been today but Royal Mail won’t deliver to my building on Saturdays and we are unable to get them to change this….long story but let’s just say it involves a lot of incompetence on their part plus ‘computer says no’.

@HundredMilesAnHour I bought some peppermint and liquorice tea (it was reduced) - it tasttmes exactly the same as your favourite seaweed tea 😆

I decided to give it one more go but I'm away until the middle of next month so had to change my delivery date (brilliant you can do that!) so now I have to avoid this thread!

I received mine yesterday but waited until this morning to open the box because I wanted to do it in peace and quiet to appreciate the moment 🙂
Love it and I will use everything.
It really is a very good subscription and am pleased I joined.

Oops, sorry, I missed this @Cyclingmummy1 Too busy thinking about the hot man and how much I miss him 🙄(I’m back in London, he’s at his summer cabin - I was there with him last month but now back home as I need to job hunt)

Anyway, getting to the point….

I was pleasantly surprised by the box having 4 things and all a good size. I’m VERY picky about shampoo and conditioner (or rather my hair is very picky) and only use Kerastase normally so will probably gift those to a friend.

I use micellar water on days when I wear make-up so delighted to get the Pelegrims one to try (currently use Bioderma).

The solar oil is an interesting one. I’m very curious about it. Unusual for an oil to be SPF50. I’m off to Tuscany (to laze by the pool at a friend’s villa) for a short break at the end of next week so will take it with me and try it out.

Edit: just realised this post makes my life sounds wonderful. Trust me, it isn’t really.

I was also impressed with 4 items. DH loved the shampoo last time so that's a hit. I have very coloured, curly hair so use products to suit.

I'm going to try the micellar water as a toner, let's see how it goes.

And I'm most impressed that the SPF oil is included. The Haeckels product was fantastic so I'm hoping this is as good.

@Cyclingmummy1 Hot man definitely still on the scene. 😍. He took me to St Moritz for a long weekend (he even booked my flights) and since then I guess we are actually together even though it’s long distance. Been to northern Norway with him since then to stay on the remote island he owns half of and even took the Pelegrims massage/body oil with me.😜 Next meet looks like Whitstable (again) so another chance to finally get into the Pelegrims shop as well as swoon over the Pelegrims handwash in The Sportsman toilets. 😂

I’m really happy with this box too. I’ve tried the shampoo before and really liked it so I’m very Interested in trying the conditioner . I use clarins spf spray oil and love that I can easily spray it through my hair to protect it. So I’m looking forward to trying this when I’m next somewhere hot (not sure when). The water will get used but I’m not excited about this as I just don’t get the point of it as I use toner but that is a me thing. Overall great selection.

I am chuffed with this box. Have not used the shampoo or conditioner before so looking forward to trying those.

Micellar water - if I use any it’s Bioderma so interested to see what I think of this one especially considering price if I were to buy it.

SPF oil - I love an oil and always use SPF50. I’m keen to try this especially as they say face and body (currently I use 2 separate oils) .
