Pelegrims quarterly subscription box

Very excited to be creating this thread to discuss the Pelegrims subscription box - my first one arrived today!

I haven’t tried the serum yet. I keep forgetting about it.🙄 I’m already a hand pomade fan although I tend to use it more as a foot cream but I’ve just started on the special edition Sicily one and I prefer that to the one in our box. Not saying that I don’t like the normal one but I always think it smells like embrocation (so it must be doing me good!).

The incense was a nice touch given they don’t sell it online.

The serum is lovely, I needed to open a new bottle so this has jumped the queue.

I'm not usually an incense fan but quite liked it for freshening up the kitchen.

I prefer the hand lotion to the pomade but it's still a great product.

Not tried the oil yet.

I was fortunate enough to go to the Pelegrims candle making workshop yesterday evening. It was great value for money and really informative. Alex ran the session while Jerome made his own candle. We got to play with loads of different fragrance oils to make our own blend. I think mine might have ended up smelling like rhubarb and custard which wasn't what I was aiming for 😃 Alex shared the latest fragrance he's working on - more summery and light. He also said that he's working on an eye cream although it may become a light face cream. Jerome gave some clues about the next subscription box - but they were very vague - a new product and something else! A lovely evening and I spent my £20 voucher on more face cleanser. 🙂

On another note, does anyone still have the Haeckels SPF oil we had in a subs box? And would they like to sell to me? I loved it as a primer.

I tried the serum for the first time last night and am very impressed so far.

Must be nearly time for a new box, and a couple of ladies from the "big spenders" Beauty Chat thread might be joining us.

Disaster struck last month - I dropped the facial mist on the floor. There was about half a bottle which I was planning to bring on holiday and it smashed! The glass went everywhere. So, fellow Pelegrimites, you have been warned!

Daft question. The box is quarterly so do you pay quarterly or is it like the liberty box and you pay each month and get boxes quarterly?

You pay quarterly and the boxes are sent quarterly.

There was a card issue with my Liberty box so it seemed like a sign to get this instead! They said I will get April's box so I'm excited to see what it is.

I've moved my date forward slightly so have an email to say my box is due to be dispatched on Monday. Yay! I'll keep it a secret until everyone has theirs.

I only ordered 15th but am already impatient for it! 🤣

No news on my box. They must be due to take the payment any time now but nothing yet.

I'm still waiting a week after payment @HundredMilesAnHour I might message them as I expected it to be dispatched by now.

I finally received an email yesterday saying they’d be taking payment soon.

I was in Canterbury very briefly last week (having lunch at The Goods Shed) and really wish I’d had time to pop into their shop. Unfortunately the ‘hot man’ had a last minute client call (he was supposed to be working lol) so we had to race back to Whitstable (where we were staying) and I didn’t get to wander down to Pelegrims. Hopefully next time!

I've not had any emails since I paid either.

I've had a reply to my email and they are waiting for one of the products which is hand made. Hopefully they'll have another batch in the next few days. I'm intrigued. And hope it's not an incense holder 😆
