Very excited to be creating this thread to discuss the Pelegrims subscription box - my first one arrived today!

just in case anyone not aware the VIP Subscribers boxes (80 only) are now available for £48 on website

I haven’t ordered from this offer last year.
Can I ask a silly question: are we only allowed to order a maximum of 1 box in total from the 8 choices?
Or can we order 1 box from each choice? For ex. Only 1 box from choice 3 plus only 1 box from choice 5 etc, so a maximum of 8 boxes (1 from each choice).
I can’t decide what I’d want and don’t want to mess up the code by mistake.

@BransterI have no idea as I didn’t see this last year.

I read the email yesterday and the one today as you can only order 1 box in total from the 80 on offer, that’s how it seems to me.

Understanding your dilemma I logged back in to my account just now and added a box to my cart and then applied the code and it didn’t work .

i thought it was one box per subscriber - otherwise they could be gone to the first 10 people.

I wanted number 8 but it's sold out so I'll give it a miss this time.

That makes complete sense the way you explained it @Cyclingmummy1 and @BeaLola.
I shall have a think and make a choice. Knowing my luck most I want would be sold by then.

I’ve given it a miss this time. There’s nothing that I’m hankering after and I’m broke after too many holidays lately.

I was all set to buy no. 5 yesterday but i'm trying cut down on my spending. So I had a word with myself and just ordered the facial cleanser which is what I really wanted in the box. And i even remembered to use the discount code.

I tried to buy one yesterday but the code didn't work – i emailed, but by the time they fixed the issue the one I wanted was sold out (saved me from myself!)

I ordered box 7 in the end at the weekend. I would have liked a couple of other ones and the sold out box 8 as well.
Very good value but I definitely did not need to spend money and buy anything and I’m glad that it wasn’t possible to order more after all.
The order is not showing as despatched yet, they are usually very quick with deliveries.

My archive box arrived today - it is missing an item sadly so I have gone back to them about that - hopefully it will be resolved quickly

Were the scents in the last box representative of their products generally?

I understand the box itself wasn't great compared to their normal boxes. So I was going to give them another go but I used the bath salts last night and really didn't like the smell and then remembered how much I disliked the perfume in the box too.

@HaveYouHadYourBreak It was my first box too. I still haven’t tried the bath salts but I thought the perfume was ok so maybe we have a different scent profile. However, I ordered one of their sets to try a bigger range of products. I can’t remember exactly what the set was called but it was a limited edition. It contained a face wash (very mild but nice consistency and mild smell), toner (quite harsh and stinging and had bits of plant matter. It was ok and smell was mild). I still have the shampoo to try and lip balm. Everything I have tried so far has been fine but I’ve not yet found a wow product. I think I will keep going with the boxes for now and maybe add another set to try a wider range of products. Does anyone have a wow product that I should put in my basket?

@Beautyfox I love the facial balm – it's amazing! The sheet masks are also really lovely, one of my fave masks!

Yes, I think they are @HaveYouHadYourBreak I suspect it's a Marmite scent.

Yeah, I kind of got that impression. Quite earthy and hippy shop-ish (which isn't a criticism!) and probably a bit too heavy for me.

I have heard lots of positives about the face oil.

Which is odd as that's not my type of scent at all but I like it 😀

I don’t love everything but I do love the face oil, facial serum concentrate and the handwash

I have the face oil but because I have combination skin I need to keep this until winter as I find face oils are too much this time of year. I will look forward to trying it.

Has anyone received their July box yet? It says it ships the first week of July but my last box (and first box) didn’t arrive until the beginning of May so I’m not sure how accurate the estimated shipping dates are.

My renewal date is the end of the month. You can move it forward in your account of your wish to.

Thanks that’s good to know. I was just going from the shipping dates it says in the advert for the boxes. I’ll have a look when mine is.

I've received mine and really love this box!

I tried to move my delivery date but that option seems to have vanished. So I'm on for the end of the month/beginning August (August! How can it be August?).

I know some people have their boxes so no spoilers please, but what would people like?

I's like the new SPF oil as I loved the Haeckels one, it worked really well as a primer, a replacement toning mist as I dropped mine and it smashed and I'd love to try the tomato diffuser but it's a bit pricey to buy by itself.

I would really like to try the hand wash.
