Do you actually change clothes to drop off/pick up at school?
Who are you trying to impress?
Do you have nothing more important to think about?

a woman at dds school does the school run every day in bronze jodhpurs. She has a very buxom bottom and the material strains over it - it's really quite a sight, I can't help but stare, every day, am becoming obsessed with her arse.

actually this is nice

but sixty farking quid

may have to take a punt on the £16 boden sack polo dress

bozza · 22/04/2008 16:04

I can't wear that wrap over type dress either due to broad back/shoulders it gapes at the front.

I live in Yorkshire but I agree with enid on the dress front. I have a knitted affair I have been wearing with tights and boots in the winter. Very handy for hanging out the washing or gardening because I can just slip my wellies on without having to mess about tucking jeans etc in. So will have a similar summer number. And you can always extend it's usefullness with a cardie.

yay! to Mrs B confirming my style choices of earlier in thread! I do have some vestiges of style left then.

TsarChasm · 22/04/2008 16:10

You could bung this over your bikini Handy for Druid bashes too.

BugBearisBugBear · 22/04/2008 16:41

I have the light blue raincoat from the Bravissimo sale. Looks great belted over a skirt/dress.

I think Grace Kelly would

zippitippitoes · 22/04/2008 17:19

DrNortherner · 22/04/2008 17:29

I'm with mamag - mon - thurs I am in smart office attire on school run. In fact someone once asked me why I was weraing fishnets to school! Fri is either boyf jeans and t shirt or gym gear. Always have make up on though.

Love this thread!

Fullmoonfiend · 22/04/2008 17:45

LOLOLOLOL at this thread - as it was me who started the most recent school run dress.

I didn't buy it for the school run FFS, I work!
But when I saw it (£10 H&M) I thought ''this is what cod means by a school run dress,'' piss easy to wear on a hot day. [optimist]

I am not a pampered princess but I do not go outside in pjs or jogging bottoms. Unless I am jogging...But I don't jog!

BugBearisBugBear · 22/04/2008 17:48

yeah, yeah, that's what YOU say .

Flamesparrow · 22/04/2008 17:51

I have one wrap dress I got a couple of years back that works for bunging over bikini

Flamesparrow · 22/04/2008 17:52

FMF - I haven't seen the thread £10 H&M sounds doable... link me pleeeeeeeeease

MoreSpamThanGlam · 22/04/2008 17:55

Fullmoonfiend · 22/04/2008 17:58

Flamesparrow · 22/04/2008 18:00

Fullmoonfiend · 22/04/2008 18:04

If I'm feeling clever or brave later I might get dh to take a pic and post it...

Flamesparrow · 22/04/2008 18:06

Please do

puffling · 22/04/2008 18:17

Does anyone here live somewhere normal where they pick kids up from school rather than doing the 'school run' and where they are wearing, whatever it is they're wearing?

Flamesparrow · 22/04/2008 18:24

It was explained lower down - to chuck over the top of bikini or summat.

maidamess · 22/04/2008 18:30

Who in Gods name wears a bikini in their back garden? I am overlooked on all sides. Do you people live in the middle of nowhere or gated estates?

Flamesparrow · 22/04/2008 18:31

who cares if people see you in a bikini - you're still clothed
