I live oop north and we do not have the weather for strappy dresses or sitting in the garden without a coat

Wonder at anyone who actually "dresses" for the school run. I go in whatever I'm wearing. In the morning, usually jeans, t-shirt, trainers, no make-up, hair in ponytail.

This is the first year of school.

Summer hadn't arrived in Paris by the end of last term (we are on holiday right now) so I don't know yet whether fur coats will carry on into summer.
