Do you actually change clothes to drop off/pick up at school?
Who are you trying to impress?
Do you have nothing more important to think about?

school run dress? what the fuck? also it was always too cold for just a dress, unless it was a fleecy one.

Cappuccino · 22/04/2008 13:40

or mottled corned beef legs

TheMadHouse · 22/04/2008 13:40

I live oop north and we do not have the weather for strappy dresses or sitting in the garden without a coat

cariboo · 22/04/2008 13:40

Wonder at anyone who actually "dresses" for the school run. I go in whatever I'm wearing. In the morning, usually jeans, t-shirt, trainers, no make-up, hair in ponytail.

This is the first year of school.

Summer hadn't arrived in Paris by the end of last term (we are on holiday right now) so I don't know yet whether fur coats will carry on into summer.

Said mother has already displayed many pairs of sunglasses though.

Cappuccino · 22/04/2008 13:41

yes madhouse you are right

fully lined perhaps

tooticky I beg to differ

I often wear a dress/skirt to do the school run, paired with wellies or sometimes silver shoes

because it pains me to wear shit all the time

I have plenty of stiles, mud, cow shit around here - a cotton dress washes as well as jeans

francagoestohollywood · 22/04/2008 13:41

cod, where do you live by the way, Ibiza?

MamaG · 22/04/2008 13:41

Well I plan to be naked most of the summer, if weather permits, so I'd NEED something to slip into

Enid is actually the woman from the Tesco

the one who comes to the party on the horse and then gets another dress out of her bag

TheMadHouse · 22/04/2008 13:42

Well that counts me out as it is never hot - so only southerns need apply - great north south divide at play AGAIN

MamaG · 22/04/2008 13:42

I need a fur lined school run dress

SheikYerbouti · 22/04/2008 13:42

I want to be able to wear a fab belted raincoats without looking like Bessie Braddock.

Anna8888 · 22/04/2008 13:42
