What perfume are you wearing today?
I will wear Atelier Cologne Trefle Pur in hope it will actually be warm today.

I’ll have to check this one out. I’m in the market for a new Autumn/winter fragrance.

I was obsessed with Angel's Share last winter, I overdosed and we are on a break. It's so good! I love Apple Brandy for lighter boozy scent for warmer weather too.

I sprayed little bit of Queen of Silk in the afternoon - I don't love it. I may ask my son if he wants it, as much as I don't get oud he love oudy perfumes.

I should not be testing perfumes or deciding keep or not right now, my sense of smell is reduced by cold/blocked nose. Sprayed some Givenchy Linterdit Rouge Ultime and I can barely smell it, it's strong!

I can not believe this happened to me again! last year it took me few months to get through the Space NK advent due to colds/blocked nose and this year again. Maye this will slow me down so I have few to try in December

Scent of the Day is 'Zam-Buk', some sort of herbal balm akin to Vicks. Notes of Eucalyptus, Thyme, Pine and Camphor

Amber Russe today - I'm still working my way through the Parfum d'Empire Samples. Amber and leather with an alcoholic top note. All of these perfumes are strong. This one is less sweet than yesterday's Angel's Share, more of a sink into amber scented leather sofa. It smells smooth and faintly soapy on my skin. I like it but I have other perfumes in the same family.

I used the Vyrao Witchy Woo today, received a full size in the Liberty Founder’s Edit https://www.libertylondon.com/uk/founders-edit-precious-potions-by-yasmin-sewell-000823256.html I really like it. When I received it, the weather was still very warm and it didn’t appeal to me so much. But now it’s cold it’s really nice and enveloping.

I’ve just looked this up and would love a sample. A review said it’s like a cinnamon bun.

Zara have some good dupes of Angel's Share. They capture the cinnamon roll/ apple pie well. Angel's share has lovely boozy note that the dupes aren't doing as well. Same perfumer Benoist Lapouza did Angel's Share and Zara Sand Dessert at Sunset. Obviously it's not same perfume

PDM Athalia. No reason, it's the feeling it brings I am after

I’m very fond of and sentimental about Estée Lauder’s Youth Dew - it’s the perfume that reminds me of my mother when I was very young - - but I find it quite overpowering and hard to wear out.

I tried Marks & Spencer Orange Blossom & Amber yesterday. I really like it. On my skin its like a modernised lighter formulation of Youth Dew and a great Autumn scent.

I love it too but spray a tiny amount on my brush and just brush my hair with it,not so overpowering.

I tried M&S Fresh Mandarin yesterday, it really reminded me of something. Google says Good Girl so I’ll try them side by side to compare as I have sample sizes of both.

Escentric molecules black tea today. Wore this a lot last year but my tastes must have changed as not feeling it today.

My Byredo deal ( 24 x 2ml samples plus a full size mumbai noise) despatched so excited for that. May use the 24 samples as an advent calendar

I think I am going to go for PDM Athalia again today. I feel my sense of smell is slightly better.

I think I am going to go for Penhaligon's Babylon, PDM Athalia, BDK Gris Charnel and l'interdit Rouge and Creed Queen of Silk this week

I ordered some samples form BDK, this will be the next perfume house to explore. I think sample set maybe more worth if for me going forward then advent calendars but lets see

I also tried Thameen Pelegrina last night. It's intense, too intense for me I gave it to my son. I like trying new perfumes at night, after bath on skin when I have time to get to know the scent and decide properly

I have a sample of BDK Vanilla leather - my vanilla loving teenage DD likes it. It's a perfectly nice smokey vanilla with a warm cosy dry down. It's like a heavy vanilla custard rather than a light and fluffy vanilla cookie.

SOTD for me is Aziyade from Parfum D'Empire. It has a sparkling fizzy opening with a spicy floral dry down. Fragrantica reviewers talk about Coca cola and cumin/BO. The cumin note isn't strong on my skin. It's a sparkling perfume - sunlight through waving leaves feel to it. It seems floral without any flowers just spices.
