B&BW bonfire bash

Floris Bouquet De La Reine. I have some 2.5ml samples that I’m using up. I don’t love this on me. Too fruity with a touch of soap.

Floral street sweet almond Blossom. Combines well with MM autumn vibes.

Oh see, I love this every single time. It’s my absolute favourite. I try to reserve it for special occasions though as I feel I’ll appreciate it more then.

I have sweet almond blossom, very pretty sweet floral feminine scent.

I sprayed little Laura Mercier Amber Vanille from last year's SpaceNK advent. It's my favourite bed time scent.

I was wearing CK One today and two different people said how lovely it was whilst I was out shopping. Made my day😁

Byredo mumbai noise for me. Love the stuff and got a large sample size in an advent calendar. As the bottles are £150 which is way out of my price range I may stock up on another sample size whilst ebay is flooded with them. I prefer to spritz than dab, so thinking to get a spritzer and de cant some in although I am wary of spilling even a drop of this nectar from the gods.

It was always a 'special occasion' fragrance for me too. I don't know whats happened to my nose 😂. Its still a head turner and always gets complimented.

What else do you like? We may have a similar taste?

I've more recently loved smelling like a fruit bowl, vanilla or pistachio gelato 😂

I do love autumn as I can get all those smokey, woody fragrances out that don't suit summer. Love by the fireplace and autumn vibes by MM, black tea by escentric molecules and dark rum by malin and goetz. I'm not really a summer fragrance person at all and whilst i know you can wear what you like, it somehow feels wrong to wear these scent in the height of summer!

Oh, I have been wanting to try this one!

Going for Orange Bitters Jo Malone today. I want to compare it to Orange Sanguine and figure out if I need 30ml bottle - I am using 5ml from advent.

I don't need Orange Bitters Jo Malone. Orange Sanguine Atelier Cologne is the queen of fresh orange scents 🍊. I will enjoy the 5ml I have but won't be buying another bottle.

Yesterday I tried a (new?) Jean Paul Gaultier one in a perfume shop - women torso shaped, but not the original I think. Disliked intensely on first spray but dry down was quite pretty - and incredibly long lasting. I found it very satisfying when I realised that it smelled just like Cacherel’s Loulou in the end notes. Unfortunately, like Loulou, I dislike the opening too much to buy it!

Does this happen to anyone else? I’m the same with L’Interdit. Absolutely adore the end but can’t stand the opening. 😬

Re Chanel, I used to love No5 when I was younger - it was my absolute favourite. And now I can't stand it. At the risk of sounding ageist, it smells like old ladies used to smell when I was a kid (albeit very glamorous ones) and not like 'me' anymore.
I don't know if Chanel have changed the formula or whether my sense of smell has changed now that I'm older. I was in my 40s when I started to go off it.

Which one of the l'interdit range? That's my signature scent. I have and love EDP, post 2022 EDT, Burning Neroli, Rouge, Rouge Ultime, Intense.

I have and don't love l'interdit tuberose noir.

I'm wearing Kayali Vanilla 28 today - I don't usually like vanillas especially if they are overly sweet but this one has some depth to it.

I love Chanel Chance Eau de Tandre EDP and EDT and have not had interest in buying any other. They have few awesome male fragrances though as Blue de Chanel and Allure Sport

Today is Liberty Maze. I am waiting for a decent GWP at Liberty to buy a larger size.

Also just received a sample of Hermes Barenia which I am excited to try as never tried any of their scents before.

Wearing that Le Cuir (Louboutin Fetiche) again as I'm in leather jacket, jeans and big boots, and feeling it. It isn't the best leather fragrance I've tried but it would be a great base for layering, I think!
