I did pp into Harrods Beauty the other day and tried Initio - Addictive Vibration.
Really liked it, but £235 is alot. I'm at the airport in the next week and so if I see it there at 20% off I think I'll take the plunge - £188 is slightly (only slightly) more palatable.

Azemour Les Oranges - freshly squeezed orange that settles down to a nice cologne.

Well, it's not going to be as planned as I am going to be in car with my husband for few hours and he doesn't appreciate Athalia as much as I do. I am going with Mojave Ghost today. Has anyone smelled the new absolu version?

I haven’t tried Athalia, I have Delina and Oriana, they tend to divide opinion.

I’m working through my many samples so today is Vryao, The Sixth. I really like it so far, it’s quite green on me but is warming up.

Delina - Parfums de Marly is my 'going out and want to smell fancy' fragrance. I adore it.

Clean reserve skin

Sana Jardin sandalwood temple for me as a decent sample size came with my liberty beauty drop. It's not too sweet but there is a subtle sweetness to it. Breaks the autumn woody/ smoky trend for me at least!

Athalia isn't crowd pleaser either. To my nose it smells like a fancy yoga studio/spa. Incense vibes in nicest possible way.

I have 10ml of Delina from HN advent and 30 of Oriana form Harrods advent so I am going to get to try them proper. But from recent sample set + valaya and palatine samples Athalia is the one that does not seem to fit with the rest of the feminine marketed perfumes from the brand. It's smokey & moody done right. I actually thought that PDM is not going to be brand for me until I tried it.

Fragrance is so personal. I love reading/hearing what others think of fragrances even if it's completely different than my opinion of same.

Another Parfum d'Empire Sample today - Wazamba. Lovely rich incense with background apple tones. Unfortunately the pine base note has gone a bit Toilet Duck on my skin!

It's well made perfume but approach with caution.

Dolce and Gabbana Devotion for me for fall and winter. I tend to stick to a summer and winter fragrance.

It is quite vanilla, but not too sweet, and is quite subtle. It is described as having citrus top notes, but the main note for me is the vanilla.

Wow, Wazamba is one of my favourite perfumes and I never seen it mentioned on threads like this! I must give it a spray tomorrow, haven't used it in a while.
It reminds me of camping in Savannah, hot sun on the pine canopy and the cool forest floor underneath.
I hope I don't actually smell of toilet duck 😀

Theodoros Kalotinis - Coffee Addict
If you like straight up realistic coffee with strong gourmand vanilla caramel basenotes, this is the one for you. It's like wearing a dose of morning coffee but it settles down beautifully into a sweet gourmand. Do not overspray if you don't want to piss off people around you. My skin loves it and it's the perfect cosy autumn scent.

Un Bois Vanille. A safe bet on a grey sodden day.

One I picked up from Amazon and will def re-purchase . It's Oudy with Amber plus a great price!

Lattafa - Opulent Musk

I bought this one after watching a YouTube vid where the lady mentioned all my fave fragrances and then also mentioned this one. I was skeptical, but was willing to take the risk for the price - and it paid off!
