I will wear Atelier Cologne Trefle Pur in hope it will actually be warm today.

Ooh, just got asked by someone in the office what perfume I was wearing because it smelled gorgeous! Seems that layering the Mojave Ghost must have worked.

I love Mojave Ghost myself. Give bal d'afrique chance in hotter weather, don't give up on it yet! What did you think of Gypsy Water, La Tulipe and Blanche?

I got alert for 3 deliveries, really hoping for my BDK package but I have few notino on my way too - few summer bargains Atelier Cologne 30ml

It was the Mojave Ghost body lotion - I had some ndulge points so succumbed.
La Tulipe and Blanche I have sold the samples on Ebay as couldn't afford to keep them all and needed to recoup some costs of the scent library. Gypsy water I have kept back to try. Coming to the conclusion that no Byredo will be strong smelling or lasting on me, but it's probably me not the perfume seeing as it could clearly be smelled in the office. As anticipated, Byredo won't do an exhange on the mumbai, they just sent me an email with some tips on how to layer. Never mind! I will list the half bottle on Ebay and see if I get any takers.

I received few orders. I feel I am little bit collecting Atelier Cologne citruses vs actually wanting some of the fragrances but I have had good luck with the range. They are very fresh, not very lasting but will be perfect for dance class & gym or summer. I ordered in two separate orders to get benefit of get a freebie offer - I chouse Jazz Club replica with one of the orders and From the Garden with the second 7ml minies.

BDK must be onto my game and have cut me one sample short.
I ordered full size to get 10 ml - Gris Charnel and Leather Vanille. That's their special offer
This came with 2 free samples that I had to choose - they send only the one.

I also ordered another sample set with repeats of things I want to explore more, vs trying everything as I did first time. In theory 10ml is 42 euro, and 15 samples by 2 ml, about 30ml total are 48. And even if they don't fill in to the max, it's probably still at least 20/25 ml. I figured as I want to get to know few of the scents better in warmer weather, it's worth getting another set and get 3 repeats of something I want to try.

I don't love the new Rouge Smoking Extrait, but it's nothing like the original. Which I also did not love. I am not sure what this reminds me of to be honest, maybe little bit of cherry ambition seven virtues (that I sold). I am happy with Kayali Burning Cherry as all the Cherry I need.

SOTD is PDM Meliora. Yes, it’s a fruity floral, but not too sweet and quite grown up. An easy, pleasant, undemanding wear which is what I needed today.

Where are you ordering from is this a decant /samples company like scentbox?

No, from BDK directly. From Notino I get smaller sizes when they have good deals as they do currently on Atelier cologne.

my byredo favourites are from least to most favourite

-> La Tulipe-> Gypsy Water -> Mojave Ghost -> Bal D'Afrique

But La Tulipe it's hard to commit to as I only want to smell it from January to March when I get in dream of spring mood.

I have not smelled the new Mojave Ghost, I feel I am ok with the one I have but will give you a sniff

I sampled Perfumes De Marley recently - leading to one full size and one 30ml bottle so far. I put a lot such as Meliora and Valaya away to test in the spring as I will feel I will appreciate them better

I am wearing PDM Valaya. I really like it. Much more than I liked Delina. I think I am going to get a PDM discovery set.

I don’t want to buy a full bottle then find I like another one of theirs more. I already have Althair but like Valaya even more.

like I can wear summer perfumes in the middle of winter - no problem, but when trying something for first time it makes difference in how I rate it

Wearing Serge Lutens Chergui today. Love it in the colder weather we are having now.
Received my bottle of Althair today - putting that away as a Christmas present. I had a sample a few weeks and absolutely loved it.

Kayali rock candy!

I do blind buy 90% of my scents so use Fragrantica a lot plus Instagram and look at the notes and then some of it is just instinct

Wanted to try the 2 new glossier but something is holding me back from both of them and I'm very drawn to the new kayali marshmallow which is due out soon

If it's vanilla, cake, biscuit, smells like pick n mix

I just got my samples from Jovoy. I just had a quick squirt of bianco latte and Fire at will.

Bit disappointed in Bianco latte. Smells like marzipan and that’s it. Will get dd to try it when she visits this weekend she if it smells any different on her. Glad I didn’t blind buy it.

Fire at will is delicious. Starts off very boozy and dries down to a very deep amber/vanilla/musk. Similar to Kayali vanilla 28, but I like this more. It’s going on my wish list.

I will. I was going to order the 10ml as I need a new concealer and I just added Kayali to my ‘brands you love’ on the app so get 10% off. But I think it’s going to be one I love or hate so would prefer to try it first.

Dd has the Kayali discovery set here so we will be trying that Friday night. But it obviously doesn’t have the new one.

Have you had good experiences with Notino? I just bought something from them (not fragrance) and then read a lot of crappy reviews on Trustpilot - I didn't get a confirmation email with my order but they did however take the money from my bank account straight away!

Notino are legit and do great discovery boxes if you know where to look

Notinon are great I use them a lot.

Gris Charnel today. Its perfect for the weather, I get the hype. Definitely one to try on skin as I didn't at all appreciate it on paper first time I tried it.
