EYE CREAM FOLKS! (not concealers)

FEel free to start feeding back

tharsheblows · 14/04/2008 12:56

This is nice and moisturising and doesn't irritate but doesn't do much else:
Ren eye cream

Am trying this today - not eye cream though but am using on crow's feet and forehead:
Dr Brandt's Crease release
It feels like it's doing something and I think it is, tbh, but the effect is temporary? Not sure, just started using it. (I got a sample from the US but it's a 10ml sample, wa-hey!)

I am falling in love with my Neal's Yard eye cream. I had been using an elemis eye cream previously, which I was impressed with and hadn't expected the Neal's yard one to be as good. Amazingly I have been converted to the benefits of organic (near my eyes anyway!) I'm actually putting it on more than twice a day as I like the feel of it around my eyes, it's quite soothing.
I like the bottle, the colour and the label - it reminds me of old fashioned Victorian bottles in a shop window. Have never been in a Neal's Yard shop (Cod thinks they're head tilty!) but imagine them to be like an old fashioned apothecary. Shall be most disappointed if they're not!

Chemicals are good. I am definitely chemically enhanced. I sure am a convert to Neal's yard after the eye cream tho'. Just looked at that link for the Frankincense cream it's a bargain at £14.

Review of [[http://www.feelunique.com/p/Elemis-Absolute-Eye-Serum-15ml.html?utm_source=froogle&utm_medium=gen Elemis Eye Serum.

Very nice little bottle with clever dropper system so you get the prescribed 2 drops without emptying the entire contents on to your hands. Thus thinking 'i will just rub it in will be good for my hands too', while reducing usage to 3 goes.

It had no smell which i found disappointing really, although how perfumed i would want something around my eyes i am not entirely sure. I did want a bit of a whiff though.

It seemed quite oily when i put it on but soon tightened the area up nicely, more like a gel would.

It went on well under make up, but i only wear a tinted mostriser so not sure if it would have coped with a full on foundation.

The best thing about it was the tightening feel it gave me after putting it on, it is supposed to be age defying and i am sure if i had lines it would have evened them out for a bit >

It did not really reduce the bags, although i am pretty sure a fork lift would have struggled with mine this week.

Not an extortionate price at around £20 but i wouldnt buy it.

I think it would be good if you had very dry areas around your eyes and fine lines as it seemed to tighten nicely while not feeling dry.

PuffCoddy · 14/04/2008 19:03

you WOULDN'T buy it?
is that a typo?
It soudns great!

largeginandtonic · 14/04/2008 19:03

largeginandtonic · 14/04/2008 19:05

PuffCoddy · 14/04/2008 19:06

cornsilk · 14/04/2008 19:07

QVC do Elemis and sometimes have good sets - also can send it back if you don't like it!

largeginandtonic · 14/04/2008 19:08

Think you may need pick and mix eye cream Cod. Have you tried cucumber? Works lovely when i have very puffy hayfever eyes.

PuffCoddy · 14/04/2008 19:09
