Hi Largeginandtonic.... so glad the Elemis found its way to you... it is about the poshest bit of beauty kit I have ever owned (and am racing through at a rate...). Now all I need to do is to upgrade all the rest of my kit accordingly....

Fullmoonfiend · 11/04/2008 17:29

Cod, thanks mate, my DHC arrived today, so am slapping some on now and will do over the weekend and report back monday - is that ok or is it too late?

TheCoderator · 11/04/2008 17:44

yes please report in in FULL by tuesday

ahundredtimes · 11/04/2008 17:54

Can I test something one day? Can I do bosom creams?

Fullmoonfiend · 11/04/2008 17:55

if there is a bosom cream which makes them grow I'm first in the queue!

ahundredtimes · 11/04/2008 17:58

Oh no! I'd have to jump to the back of the queue for that one. I shall chuck the tube at you FMF and hare off round the back.

But I'll do an uplift moisteurising marvellous cleavage cream - should one be available.

Fullmoonfiend · 11/04/2008 18:06

ah now, there is an excellent cheapy one with coca butter that I use after having it recommended to me which does seem to improve skin condition. But if you are generusly endowed, not sure there is anything miraculous to, erm, uplift, short of a jolly well fitted bra (or surgery )

Fullmoonfiend · 11/04/2008 18:09

of course, I cannot remember the name....will go and find it.

GetOrfMoiLand · 11/04/2008 21:09

Was sold some eye cream by company called Caudalie by a young bint in Space NK who did not even have the smidgen of eye bags or circles. Cow. In any case it made no difference whatsoever and was not worth the best part of twenty quid.

I stole my mums Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair eye cream last year and that was no good either. Glad I didn't buy it (mum was not a happy chappy though)

Only thing that gets rid of the puffiness in extreme cases is Preperation H.

TheCoderator · 12/04/2008 08:55

well I have this freaky virus/impending death by o pufyf eyes thing atm. i am tryign to mask it by lashings of saint tropez but god i look terrible

Fullmoonfiend · 12/04/2008 10:19

Cod, have a look here for some alternative cures for eye infection thingies. I am something of an expert by now :(

TheCoderator · 12/04/2008 12:05

unofrt its not my eyes
its a symptom of what my sister is convinced is flippign glandualar fever/dengue fever or maybe pneumonia.

will look

Pillow · 12/04/2008 23:43

Oooh a boobs cream is a fab idea. I remember being 18 and buying the Clarins "system" - there was a system - twas like a breastpump with cold water washed over yer boobs to perk them up.

And now I would just like to talk to 18 year old me for a minute.

HELLO 18 YEAR OLD PILLOW - THIS IS YOU AFTER BREASTFEEDING!! HAHAHAHAHAHAH

TheCoderator · 13/04/2008 15:58

any verdicts yet>

Fullmoonfiend · 13/04/2008 18:53

ok,
I am testing:

DHC Eye-Off Shade, &10.50 for 6.5ml.
''Discover beauty Secrets From Japan''

Promises to ''reduce dark, puffy circles for eyes that sparkle''
''Specially formulated with natural and botanical extracts to help improve the appearance round the eyes making you look more refreshed anytime, anywhere''

Very slightly scented, with an applicator tip, very small tube, ideal for make-up bag. dab on under make-up.

Feels very soothing and skin does look a little brighter snd tighter (only been using it since Friday)

I have rather sensitive eyes (and wear lenses) and there has been no problem at all.. .
Had big night out last night and it did seem to help this morning with my sleep-deprived eyes. Not sure it did anything miraculous, but very pleasant and soothing.

Looks like it would last a long time so probably good value for money.

wish I could find something for fine lines though - before they become less than fine

cocolepew · 14/04/2008 09:40

The lovely lady from Avon sent me their concealer to test and she put a book in too. in it they have eyeshadows that give a tempory lift effect. i will buy one in the interest of science and report back.

cornsilk · 14/04/2008 09:41

I can't use bodyshop eye gel either.

ELR · 14/04/2008 09:47

i have been using the sanctury brightening eye gel for about a month and found it quite good its only 8.95 and is on a 3 for 2 at boots at moment infact all the sanctury face stuff is quite good usually use clinique and origins so this cheaper option is quite good

largeginandtonic · 14/04/2008 09:51

Oh bugger, wrote that yesterday. Did have the baby on my lap Will try again!
