Am mourning the loss of my Merrell Terran Lattice II walking sandals. Very comfortable, and once on, pretty nice for sandals you could walk all day in. The straps were arranged just so - I don't know why Merrell have changed the design in the updated version. I've looked for ages and can't find them now, apart from second-hand on ebay. Second-hand sandals are a bridge too far, alas.

Sometimes when I come across, say, a t-shirt or a jumper that turns out to be just the right cut or whatever, I might buy another one while I can. Wish I'd thought to do that with these Merrells. Oh well. Tell me I'm not alone?

I like these sandals too, I did have two pairs but recently had to throw one out as they were just tatty.

Belle d’Opium is another for me, though I did manage to find a big bottle on eBay and using it sparingly.

The office espadrille sandals they did a couple of years back - gorgeous and comfortable in loads of colours and metallics

Debtfreeme · 19/05/2024 07:55

Primark done these thick black shape vests with wide straps that i still have and are in great condition after 10 years. I’ve seen lots of shapewear vests but none quite as thick or with the thick straps.

I'm pretty chuffed with myself atm. I have a tent, a cheap 3 man dome tent. It's ideal for skeleton camp weekenders, easy to put up, offers decent space, stands firm and is just really well designed.
Saw it half price on sale last week (they're making way for the new version)...found a voucher for another 15% off and lo, I have another one for when the first gives up or for when my teens want their own space.

OrangeBlossom28 · 19/05/2024 07:58

The Nic Chapman MAC lipstick. I so wish I'd bought more when they reduced them to £8 each.

Ooh which tent?

PostalPanic · 19/05/2024 08:00

@pictoosh, Which tent is it please - am on the lookout for one. Thanks!

Caramac bars 😔

About 15 years ago there was a really sweet Roberto Cavalli perfume that was discontinued, I bought as many as I could before, but I've never found the equivalent scent since

LetsGoRoundTheRoundabout · 19/05/2024 08:04

@pictoosh that sounds exactly what I’m looking for in a tent, please share!

I deeply regret not buying ten pairs of M&S sandals. They did them about three years ago - wide fit, low wedge, two elastic straps across the ankle. They were nice and smart for work, and comfy enough to walk around in all day everyday. Pale pink and white, so have aged quickly. I waited for them to go in the sale and then they disappeared!

TCThree · 19/05/2024 08:06

Some M&S Chelsea boots in black, they had the same design every year but when I needed a new pair they'd been discontinued.

GaslitByGap · 19/05/2024 08:13

M&S Sumptuously Soft bras. I went to buy more before they disappeared and they had disappeared!

Ditto Gap jeans I went to buy an exact copy in same size and they were thinner and 2in longer!

All the various light moisturizers with SPF I use that they then discontinue.

I did actually buy a few pairs of Office sandals that I loved but my feet decided they need even more comfort so I can only have walking sandals. There are literally one pair I like so wondering if to buy them again....

I'm delighted to share this link.
We have tents for different purposes (family camping/expedition etc) and have been through a few in our time. I really rate this one.
It has a few design features that suit me.

It has a side door in the porch. These are invaluable for when it's pelting down. The sloping front door, as seen on so many tents, drip into your porch when you go in and out in the rain. The side door prevents you from having to use it so the tent stays dry. Very few small tents feature them.

It has a porch large enough to cook in, relax in and even fit two camping chairs when it's wet.

It has a dark lining in the sleeping space which is soothing in the sun after you get back from being active.

It is very quick to put up and take down.

Clarks Rona Race sandals from a few years ago. I bought two pairs at the time, wore one out, then the second pair got covered in mould 😩. They had a perfect footbed and elastic straps in just the right places.

The Shiseido feminite du bois in purple bottle - formula different now.

So many things!
Current sadness is Scholl Monterey sandals in coral. Was unsure when I bought them as they were paler than they looked online but they have been amazing and of course they don’t make them anymore. I’m about to try to dye them orange and think I’ll get another summer out of them if the dye works.

A Jaeger vest top that I got in a charity shop. It was double layer fabric so very flattering on my bumpy bits and the perfect length. Have looked everywhere but nothing like it to be found.

A random bar of luxury soap DP brought home. Huge, smelt incredible and lasted ages. Of course we just bunged the wrapper in the bin and had no idea what it was called by the time we realised how perfect it was.

Bourgois blusher and eye shadow pots. I used a great slighly shimmery, pale pink/nude one almost every day and last month baggage handling at JFK destroyed my last pot and it isn't sold in the UK anymore. ☹️

They have them on amazon

My boden stripy T-shirt dress about 5 years ago. So cool and comfy…. To my utter joy they have it again but this time with pockets! I bought two and am ordering some more

TheOGCCL · 19/05/2024 09:26

@hurlyburlygirly Do you mean like this? https://www.office.co.uk/view/product/office_catalog/2,305/5140390175.
Office still do a range of espadrille sandals.

@Ginmonkeyagain I saw Bourjois in Superdrug the other day but guess you mean specific shades?

Ginmonkeyagain · 19/05/2024 09:29

Ooh! I did not know that. Will take a look.

TheOGCCL · 19/05/2024 09:31

Loads of things over the years but normally shoes as my feet are long and narrow and it’s hard to find things that suit. I bought four pairs of the same narrow New Look plimsolls a year or two back which I’m working through.

Probably my winter coat too. It’s about 8-9 years old from Next and looking a bit past its best but it’s perfect.
