I should have bought the dress - please help.

I foolishly had a wobble and didn't buy the dress and it's now sold out everywhere (I can see) in my size 16/18.

Does anyone have any other ideas for tracking it down. It's a Monsoon bridal dress. Camilla

I would grab a 14 in case. Monsoon were pretty generous as i recall

I'd buy it in the 22 and have it altered by a seamstress.

Wow what a stunner of a dress! Yes - buy it in a different size and get it altered. Do not delay!

Where do you live? Monsoon Bluewater has dresses in stock, to try on and buy, so if you live close it may be worth calling them. I think a few select Monsoon stores do wedding dresses so it may be worth finding out which ones stock the bridal range if you're not close to Bluewater.

I would grab the 14 and 22. Try both on and see if you can make either work. Getting the bigger one altered to fit you perfectly would probably be the best bet.

Second vote to contact Monsoon customer service and see if any branches can mail one to you. Keep an eye on John Lewis for returns as they also have it but online only. It’s beautiful. Good luck 💐

If you have time before the wedding then just keep refreshing the page a few times a day (if you have time), it'll probably come back into stock. I often do this and it usually works. Lovely dress.

They've replied saying they're doubtful of a restock but to keep an eye on it .

100% buy in size up and/or down and get a seamstress to alter. It's stunning and I probably wouldn't rely on the right size being restocked. Congrats!

I agree with PPs if this is the dress you want buy the size they have in and get it altered seamstress work miracles and that way you will have a dress that fits you perfectly.

Could a dressmaker make you something very similar if all else fails?

I went on an epic search for a flower girl dress - doubly tricky as it was in the sale. I rang all the stores (no luck) and stalked the website - things that I'm presuming must have been returned seemed to go back into stock online in the evening (7-9pm ish). I did get it in the end. Good luck, it's a gorgeous dress.
