Obsessed as I am obsessed with this top.
Cute to describe nearly everything.

’how do I style this skirt/top?’
‘What can I style this with?’

Laska2Meryls · 02/01/2024 18:30

' A Pop of Colour' . Aaaargh!!! Make It Stop !

Yes, everything is suddenly "cute". A few years ago no adult would have wanted to wear "a pair of cute boots".
Also annoying: "a red lip".

WingingItSince1973 · 02/01/2024 18:33

'On trend'
'Pop of colour' 😩😩😩

WingingItSince1973 · 02/01/2024 18:33

Oh yes and 'red lip' 😂

Whatapickle23 · 02/01/2024 18:35

greengreengrass25 · 02/01/2024 18:35

Ditsy print

eldorado02 · 02/01/2024 18:38

Singular nouns for pairs that should be plural eg the aforementioned red lip, a wide leg Jean, a white trainer - it’s so affected to my ears/eyes, but has taken over certain corners of Instagram etc!

AtillaTheHon · 02/01/2024 18:39

I was coming on to say "and a red / glossy / nude lip" 😂

Not s&b but I hate the word sip on social media, usually on those shots of cute country cottages or pubs "the person who tagged you in this wants to go here with you and sip hot chocolates in front of the fireplace". Just fucking drink it. Why is everyone going around sipping everything?

WingingItSince1973 · 02/01/2024 18:40

@eldorado02 oh yes! What is it with that speech??

SuperPug · 02/01/2024 18:41

‘Investment piece’

JustWhatWeDontNeed · 02/01/2024 18:43

Yes yes to a red lip/nude lip

FantasticElasticBand · 02/01/2024 18:43

I’ll see your ‘seasonal piece’ & raise you ‘transitional piece’.

MerryChristmasToYou · 02/01/2024 18:43

Luxe

Oh god... what does that word actually mean?

'Luxury' is fine.
'Lux' is tolerable but why the 'e' on the end?
Just why?
