Look Fantastic Advent Calendar 2023 Opening Thread

Hey, I’ve looked to see if there’s already a thread for this calendar, but couldn’t find one. Is there anyone else with a Look Fantastic calendar?

i was very pleased with yesterday’s Elemis hydration serum. Won’t mention today’s just yet in case not everyone has opened it, but it seems to be another good offering. So far, so happy!

I’m going to try yesterday’s ESPA’s bath gel today. And I’m very happy with today’s lip oil.

I have it as one of my two calendars! I’ve had LF a few times and think it is a really good calendar for the price. I’m happy with the 3 days so far. I’m usually guilty of putting things away from the calendar for another day but I’m going to try and use things straight away this year.

The Elemis serum is lovely - I really like the pro collagen line but hadn’t tried this before. Perfect for winter and smells lovely.

I was a bit "meh" about today's product but I don't really tend to use them that much.

I already owned the product that is in 25 so I sold it on eBay and replaced with a variety of items (I can't actually remember now but I think at least one fragrance went in there). Did it long enough ago that I can't remember what I put in which is great! 😂

I've only glanced at it so far so I will look properly tomorrow at the previous days.

Joining please, and already the opening threads have been helpful as I was a bit quick to gloss over each of the first couple of days' items, but the comments from others made me appreciate them more. Have started to use the Day 1 product, and Day 2's is going in a newly-started 'overnighter bag' for when I am staying at BFs so I don't have to use his yuk one-product-does-it-all stuff. I am also a bit meh about today's, not something I use so I've put it back in the drawer and am thinking I will repurpose the whole calendar with little bits for DD who will appreciate this item anyway.
As an aside - all my items have been 'naked' in the drawers with a folded bit of tissue in there too. Are all yours the same? Or did mine just get fulfilled by a particularly unmotivated Look Fantastic drawer-filler-upper who couldn't be bothered to wrap the products as they went!

Not just you Anyname, my products seem to be barely wrapped or even covered by the tissue paper 😁

Today's is one of the reasons I chose the LF calendar this year. I use it anyway and the deluxe mini size is brilliant for travelling. Very happy! 😊

Nars Orgasm blush today - this will get used. I think I’ll swap out my current blusher which is a bit too bright for winter.

I used the shower gel yesterday too and like the scent. All in all I’m pleased so far!

I’ve also had this blush before and I’m very happy to have another; my large version is running out so I’ll swap it for this one now. It’s a lovely shade for both day and night.

Im really happy so far and will use all of the products. Mine aren’t covered with tissue either, just a little folded square in the box with the item but the packaging is pretty so I’ll forgive them!

Love NARS but I only use their liquid blush so I’ll put this into my charity box for the women’s refuge.

I was told that cream/liquid blush is more flattering for older faces. I’m 54.

I like the look of today’s serum…I’m really pleased with this calendar so far (bar the ineffectual tissue). Here’s hoping the standard of gifts remains high 🤞🏻

Yes I like the look of it too, I'm about to wash my face and pop some on. My DC have been having sneaky peeks to see what I'm getting each day and they seem to think tomorrow's one is hilarious so I'm quite intrigued!

Very pleased with the last few days, I'm a convert to the NARS blush after getting it in an AC a couple of years ago, and I do like a good peel so looking forward to trying yesterday's. Today's is a people-pleaser, I won't use it due to sensitive skin but DD will certainly be happy to get it.
Apart from the nakedness I'm really pleased with this calendar. I did a lot of research before going for it and there's really nothing so far that's a dud.

Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum cream today - I have lots of these from various calendars and GWPs so can’t get excited about it, but it will get used eventually.

I like the smell of bum bum cream so pretty happy, pleased with the serum too. The only DoD so far for me was the lip oil.

I’ve never tried the bum bum cream so I’m happy to give it a go. No duds for me so far 😊

I’m really happy too! It’s my first beauty advent and I am really impressed, no duds and it really does feel like a lovely treat every day.

Another one for the overnighter bag today and exactly the 4 types I use, so Day 7 is another winner here! I'm off on an overnighter tonight so will be putting them to the test right away.
