Look Fantastic Advent Calendar 2023 Opening Thread

Hey, I’ve looked to see if there’s already a thread for this calendar, but couldn’t find one. Is there anyone else with a Look Fantastic calendar?

i was very pleased with yesterday’s Elemis hydration serum. Won’t mention today’s just yet in case not everyone has opened it, but it seems to be another good offering. So far, so happy!

Tell a lie! I forgot to open the 4th so that's a nice wee surprise.

Has anybody been able to find the nudestix lip colour online? They don’t seem to stick the Posh colour on lookfantastic.

Empty drawer for me today 😟. Can anyone let me know what they got so I can contact LF if it was anything decent?

No - you should have an Eve Lom rescue mask x

Pleased with the Eve Lom mask, though I only use masks in the shower so need ones that only take 5-10 minutes to work, whereas this is a 15-20 minute job.

I've emailed Look Fantastic so hopefully they sort something out.

Really poor show with the number of empty drawers, I hope LF play fair and give decent refunds.

I have already had a Mask Morning with the Eve Lom and Coco and Eve products all going on. Have never used either - but my hair has been breaking recently so good to give it some love. The Eve Lom seems to be a clay-type one and was quite pungent, but has left my skin feeling glowy and soft, so pretty pleased.

Can we get some love for any AC that has a 25th drawer! Excited to see tomorrow's contents in ours

I have already opened tomorrows as I’m not at home for Christmas, obviously I won’t spoil for anyone but I think it’s a good one! I am so pleased with this advent calendar and will definitely order again.

Ive got all my lovely items in a drawer and will be doing some serious pampering on Boxing Day when I’m back and all the festivities are over.

As soon as Suntee has been and delivered the gifts my first job is that Eve Lom mask - waited all month to open this one!

I didn’t wait for Suntee. Used the mask earlier and loved it!

Well while door 25 was a good ending, it's a bit annoying that exactly the same pallet was in door 25 two years ago.

I’ve had a few LF calendars but must have missed the one with the same palette. That’s really annoying that they’ve done that, such a disappointment for loyal customers! Otherwise I think the palette is a good way to end. I have more than enough eyeshadow though and this looks quite sparkly so I think I’ll sell it on.

I'll give it to my sister or a friend. It's actually one of my favourite palettes but I know I don't need 2!

I also love the eye shadow palette, they’re just the sort of colours that I use.

I’ve been really impressed with the LV calendar this year and will probably get it again next year.

I'm delighted with the palette, I got a four-colour Iconic one in another AC a couple of years back and repurchased it once I'd used it all up, the colours are so pigmented. This one is mega and has loads of shades I'll use.

Sorry it's a disappointment if it's a repeat from a previous year, that's a bit lazy of LF to have the same thing, especially in Drawer 25. But then again, what with the empty or naked drawer sagas maybe laziness has been a bit of a running theme.

All in all I have been Mrs Smuggety Smug of Smugland all month with this AC choice, and have enjoyed opening it with all of you. Have a great year and will maybe see some of you again on 1st December 2024!

Anyone had any success in sorting out the missing items? I'm currently going round in circles. Have filled in a missing item form and have since had messaging asking if the full calendar is missing, despite me being clear it's one item. They're asking if a family member could have signed for it. Incredibly frustrating!

Does anyone else find the mascara scratchy?

I love the mascara. I've been trying to find a new one I like and think this is finally it!

Same, I’ll definitely buy the mascara again

I did end up with mascara all over my face after getting caught in the snow today. Can't say I've had that happen with any other mascara I've used in a long time!
