Look Fantastic Advent Calendar 2023 Opening Thread

Hey, I’ve looked to see if there’s already a thread for this calendar, but couldn’t find one. Is there anyone else with a Look Fantastic calendar?

i was very pleased with yesterday’s Elemis hydration serum. Won’t mention today’s just yet in case not everyone has opened it, but it seems to be another good offering. So far, so happy!

I am SO happy with today’s!

My Mac Stack is running out (christmas gift last year) so this couldn’t have come at a better time. It’s a really good mascara.

I don’t want this calendar to be over 😂

@TragicMuse the candle smelt really strong in the box, but it’s quite mild once lit.

Still, not worth risking a migraine for I suppose!

Even if today's item was wrapped in its tissue paper it still might fall short of surprising and delighting...

It's fine, in the same category as the brush cleaner stuff - just not a thing I use... DD will be happy enough though.

However I tried the Mac mascara from yesterday and was very impressed!

Yesterdays mascara looks good - it’s nice to have a full size as usually they put sample sizes in calendars which are really fiddly to use. I’ll wait until I’ve used up my current (sample size) mascara before trying it.

Today’s Real Techniques sponge is a little dull. I already have one though, so it will be useful to have a spare so I don’t have to wash it straight away!

Agree that todays is “meh”.

Will use it, but it’s just not that exciting.

My hubby bought me this calendar, some of the things look great, however I'm not totally up to date with all the different beauty brands so not sure if these are great or not. Unfortunately no12 had nothing in it and after numerous emails to look fantastic, theyve failed to tell us what was in number 12 and the value. I'm assuming every calendar has the same products. Can anyone tell me what was in no12 and the value please. Thanks x

@Wpaterson thanks to @SciFiFan's post from the 12th I'm reminded it was the NUDESTIX Gel Colour Lip + Cheek Balm in shade 'Posh' (deluxe size) - worth £17.86.
How annoying that you didn't receive it at all. I hope LF play fair with your missing item.

As for today's - maybe not the luxe facial moisturiser I was hoping for but will be used and another reliable brand and better than a cosmetic sponge so all good!

I've only just found this thread. My calendar is at partners house and I only stay there once a week so open a weeks worth of drawers at once
I really wanted the brush cleaner so happy with that
How is everyone finding the mushroom liquid stuff?

Tried the MAC mascara today and I love it!
I use Maybelline usually but this is even better.

I’m happy enough with todays moisturiser, will keep it for the days when I don’t want to use the fancy stuff.

@Wpaterson I’m not planning on using my lip and cheek pencil thing and am happy to send it on to you if you want it?

Very happy with yesterday’s moisturiser, and also with today’s gift. I can’t believe we’re already on drawer 20!

Today's is one for the stocking. I already have quite a lot of this kind of thing to get through!

Empty drawer for me today - I ran out of eye cream a few weeks ago and rifled through the box to take this out early. I’m not a fan of Avant - it seems to be a brand with sky high prices for average products which mainly get sold in advent calendars…

I'm just reading through this and I didn't get the Nars blusher! I can't remember what I got on the 4th instead but I'm thinking it's the mini makeup brushes as no one here seems to have mentioned these?
