@OchonAgusOchonOh - I'm in the UK. Sorry for confusion.

Also may have been responding to someone else on the Stylvana thing. Sorry! Was posting too quickly.

MalibuBetty · 11/10/2023 22:31

Stylevana does ship to Ireland I order from them regularly. I've never bought their calendar though. The reduced price of €193 seems expensive for it imo.

I used this code: INF10KBEAUTY

It took an extra 22% off making it £132. I'm not sure whether it will work in Ireland but you could give it a try

MidnightMeltdown · 11/10/2023 22:48

Code was found here:

That's odd. When I checked the website it said they only ship to the UK. Maybe there are multiple sites for different locations and I ended up on the UK one because I followed a link to the calendar. Most sites automatically transfer to the correct locale though.

Off to check.

Basically, ignore me.

I found the EU site. No advent calendar on it though.

MidnightMeltdown · 11/10/2023 23:33

That's frustrating @OchonAgusOchonOh

On the UK page there is a 🇬🇧 in the top right corner. If you click that it allows you to change the country. Weirdly, the calendar is there for all except the EU. Although France, Spain, Germany and Italy appear to have their own sites with the calendar on which is weird.

Thank you.

I'm definitely starting to take it personally now, with all these companies not shipping to Ireland.

Possimpible · 11/10/2023 23:56

Well, I have committed! Finally decided on F&M, just went for it as it's unlikely to be reduced and it's the only one where I'd really be disappointed if it sold out and I missed out. I also really want Elle as I think the two calendars give a good range, but it's a lot of money for both, and I'm not convinced by this subscription 'offer'. Going to try to hold my nerve and see if there are any further reductions 😬

Emmmmz9 · 12/10/2023 07:17

Code AC150 gets you £25 off the Latest in Beauty calendar

Peridot1 · 12/10/2023 07:37

@OchonAgusOchonOh - I don’t get why companies in the EU won’t ship to Ireland. It’s very odd. And frustrating I’m sure!

Peridot1 · 12/10/2023 07:46

@OchonAgusOchonOh YesStyle are another K-Beauty site and they seem to indicate they ship to Ireland. They have an advent calendar although it’s currently out of stock but more will apparently be available in four days.

Funnily enough they ship to the UK but not to Northern Ireland.

I've bought from YesStyle. I've just started to get in to the K beauty thing.

It's very frustrating.

QueefofSheena · 12/10/2023 09:43

Anyone looking for teenagers, Revolution have a Willy Wonka beauty AC out. It's £45 but I'm sure that in previous years they have been reduced on BF.

AprilLady · 12/10/2023 10:25

Anyone thinking about the Fenwicks 12 day calendar, Fenwicks have a reasonable GWP today which works with buying the calendar. Makes it pretty good value, especially if you are a fan of the EGF serum (there is a full size 15ml included).

QueefofSheena · 12/10/2023 10:43

Thanks @AprilLady I love that serum so it's very tempting!

What is especially odd is that stylevana do ship to Ireland - just not the advent calendar.

Maybe they have a set number of calendars allocated per country and decided that Ireland wasn't a big enough market. It seems really strange though, given that they already ship other items to Ireland.

Peridot1 · 12/10/2023 12:49

@MidnightMeltdown - I wonder is it to do with size and cost of shipping?

MidnightMeltdown · 12/10/2023 13:26

@Peridot1 possibly, although Stylevana ships all orders from Hong Kong, so I'm not sure why it would cost more to ship to Ireland than the UK or France, unless they have some kind of special shipping deal with some countries.

MathsFiend · 12/10/2023 13:57

If anyone is buying a beauty advent from Fenwick, they are doing a GWP with a £160 spend and advents are included

pinkchampagne1 · 12/10/2023 14:37

The Fenwicks calendar is tempting with the free gift set, plus you get to chose 2 extra samples. I must resist though as I have JL and OK already!

SoloCat · 12/10/2023 15:08

Agree that Fenwicks is tempting…but I’m at the point where I realise I have one face and one body! I have enough products to last me several years..I’m such a beauty addict!

It’s like the scream painting..that’s how I feel every time there is a new calendar or discount 😂

Possimpible · 12/10/2023 15:13

It is tempting... but I have to agree with @SoloCat , as much as I love that Bioeffect serum it's really the only thing from either the calendar or the GWP I'd actually want enough to spend money on. So spending £45 more for all that other stuff, despite seeming like a bargain it's actually really not.

Is this growth?! 😂

MavisMcMinty · 12/10/2023 15:38

I was temporarily cured of my beauty-buying addiction when I got loads of people to buy me birthday presents of various edits and kits that I sent them links to, also buying other offers myself and leaving them unopened until my birthday, when I must have unboxed 100+ products. After that complete binge, nothing tempted me, nothing at all, really thought that I was cured, like when your Mum/Dad smelled smoke on you/your clothes and made you smoke a whole packet of cigarettes, one after the other, to try and put you off for life.

But alas, the reprieve lasted about 10 weeks, and BAM! I just bought 3 ACs in the space of a week. The equivalent of a 40-a-day smoker again.
