If anyone was wanting the Boots winter skincare edit, that’s back in stock. I’m still trying to get the awards box

GymGym
I had trouble ordering the beauty awards box too.
Finally ordered it on Saturday night but have now had a message saying delivery has been delayed......

itsalongwaybackfromsorry · 29/10/2023 11:41

I see Fenwick has gone for a 12 day calendar instead of their usual full calendar which they struggled to sell last season; too many small sizes. Shame, as the products themselves were always quite nice, just small. Their 12 day calendar is quite expensive at £165

I did a Boots order last week and have the same message - not the beauty box. I think they’re just snowed under in general.

I have Fenwick along with the GWP and a couple of decent samples including a Bobbi Brown lipstick. It was worth it for me as I like the EGF serum. I opened it though as I wanted to use some of the things and I have Liberty to open in December.

Wow @pinkchampagne1 you better clear your diary for December you are going to be busy!
I only have OK and LIB which I bought for presents so is already empty I have bought a few boxes though (LIB and Cult beauty). As we move to November I am just thinking which advents would I buy if reduced and I am struggling. The only one I may be tempted by is Selfridges , possibly Harrods and Elle with a great discount. And obviously Vogue but I don’t think it will ever reduce to my budget
What about everyone else are you all done or holding out for any reductions?

I'm done (but never say never if there are good enough reductions!)

Really, I should be spending the money on getting a few new bits for my wardrobe, but I'm about half a stone over my ideal weight at the moment, so clothes shopping isn't very appealing.

Beauty calendars are more forgiving. You can't be too fat for face cream.

MidnightMeltdown · 29/10/2023 12:52

Vogue would make a great weight loss/fitness calendar. You open a door every time you hit a target (instead of having a slice of cake!), and then by the end you look like you could be on the cover of vogue 😂

I bought Fenwicks yesterday as I was lured in by the free gwp. It is expensive but it contains a full sized EGF serum which is £129 and a £150 moisturiser along with other bits.
I didn’t actually need it as I already have JL and OK but I am planning to try and sell some of my beauty stash!

LunaDeBallona · 29/10/2023 13:47

I really want the Vogue one but I’m hanging on to see if it gets reduced but equally terrified it gets sold out.
Ive never been as obsessed by a thread as I am now I’ve found this.
I cannot believe how many calenders there are.
What food ones do you recommend. I would like to get one for my husband so he doesn’t feel left out!

I have it too, also with the GWP. I love the EGF serum. It's lovely for my skin. I love the packaging this year. It feels so sturdy and glam. Unlike Space NK which is flimsy, to say the least.

Do you have a link to the GWP for Fenwick?

itsalongwaybackfromsorry · 29/10/2023 16:46

I have the email re the GWP for Fenwick, but it doesn't appear in the basket when I put the calendar in. :/

pinkchampagne1 · 29/10/2023 17:19

If you search ‘beauty box’ on their site you will see the gift details. For some reason it doesn’t seem to add it to basket though. It is available until December so I can’t understand why. 🤔 I got mine in the Fenwick store yesterday.

QueefofSheena · 29/10/2023 17:49

Fenwicks have a list of stores the GWP is available in now. Looks like it's sold out online

Jellycats4life · 29/10/2023 20:00

I think I’ve decided I’m going for the Harrods AC. Question is, when do I take the plunge? Do they ever do GWPs?

I'm not 100% sure, but going from memory I think Harrods only does one GWP per year - in the Spring.

Jellycats4life · 29/10/2023 20:05

Good to know @FinallyFinalGirl, thanks. Harrods isn’t my go-to for beauty products so I wasn’t sure.

FinallyFinalGirl · 29/10/2023 20:06

Oh and I went for Harrods...it isn't massively exciting as far as new products go but the excellent tried and tested brands made it a no-brainer for me.

Emmmmz9 · 30/10/2023 06:43

Are there any discount codes for the OK calendar please?

Try 10OK, that’s 10 ok not 100k as I first tried! 😆 It was knocking £10 off making it £85. It is a pretty good box for the price I think. There is an unboxing video on You Tube you can watch.

Peridot1 · 30/10/2023 08:06

The OK one is the main one I’m tempted by too @Emmmmz9.

I’m holding off though as I really really don’t need anything. Trying so hard to be a sensible grown up!

pinkchampagne1 · 30/10/2023 08:21

I was trying to be a sensible grown up too but have failed. Now have John Lewis (DH bought it for my birthday), OK because it seemed too good a deal to pass on and now have Fenwick too because I got lured in by the gwp! 😖

Emmmmz9 · 30/10/2023 08:54

@Peridot1 I stupidly watched an unboxing on You tube this morning and now I’m twitching! 😂

Emmmmz9 · 30/10/2023 11:02

@pinkchampagne1 @Peridot1 well I’ve caved and ordered OK!
10OK code still active for £10 off so no brainer. Thank you

LunaDeBallona · 30/10/2023 11:45

This thread is dangerous.
Ive just bought the OK box.
So I’ve now bought three boxes and I’m still side eyeing the Vogue on. I dare not watch an opening of it as I won’t be able to stop myself.
Im justifying the OK box because I used the 10OK code. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Peridot1 · 30/10/2023 11:46

@Emmmmz9 - ooh! Exciting!
