As the title says
What about Marc Jacobs? Radley? Ted Baker ?

OP posts:
Squiggo · 16/07/2023 22:15

They’re all high street brands aren’t they?

ItsMyUkelele · 16/07/2023 22:18

All high street brands imo.

Dogsrus99 · 16/07/2023 22:18

@Squiggo I would say no, except for Ted Baker?

I'd say Marc Jacobs is a cut above Kate Spade, which is a shade above the other two which are upper end of high street.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 16/07/2023 22:19

I wouldn't class Radley as designer not sure on the others

ShirleyPhallus · 16/07/2023 22:20

If you see 15 year olds using them on the way to school then no

If you can buy them in TKMaxx then no

TeleTropes · 16/07/2023 22:22

Definitely all high street (or maybe slightly above), but I’d say they’re more “brand” than designer.

AnnaMagnani · 16/07/2023 22:22

I'd say Kate Spade was higher than Radley which is higher than Ted Baker.

PegasusReturns · 16/07/2023 22:22

Marc Jacobs in entry level designer.

the rest are high end high street in this order:

kate spade
radley
Ted Baker

Beat me to it 😀

Bananaspliff · 16/07/2023 22:28

Kate Spade, Coach, Micheal Kors, DKNY and Marc Jacobs are brands I would put in the “affordable luxury” bracket.
Radley and Ted Baker are “High Street”
“High End” designer to me is Chanel, Dior, Hermes, Prada/Miu Miu, Gucci etc

Archeron · 16/07/2023 22:30

Top end high street. Along with the likes of LK Bennett, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Carvela, Mulberry. Basically if you can buy it in John Lewis it’s high street.

ChittyBangabang · 16/07/2023 22:37

Is Vivienne Westwood designer?

TizerorFizz · 16/07/2023 22:41

Vivienne Westwood can be but some items are not expensive. Not sure what the brand will be now she’s died.

Marchintospring · 16/07/2023 22:42

If they have a shop in an outlet mall they are high street. That includes you Ralph.

freetheunicorn1 · 16/07/2023 22:42

High end high street not designer!

Cincinnatus · 16/07/2023 22:43

I wouldn’t call them high end or designer in any way whatsoever.

It was at one point. But now teenagers are wearing those orb earrings and they sell plastic shoes. So no. It’s tacky.

Bottega Veneta and Linda Farrow amongst others are at Biscester Village outlet. Nothing high street about them 😂

TizerorFizz · 16/07/2023 22:47

Yes. The retro plaids are still quite sought after. High end is the opposite of punk really!!

OneFrenchEgg · 16/07/2023 22:49

All of them are expensive highstreet of variable quality. Ted Baker reminds me of school and 18th parties. Coach is my current favourite although ditching and trying to find a vegan supplier as I'm losing them. Kate Spade etc all high street.

Niftythrifter · 16/07/2023 22:50

I personally like See by Chloe bags ( Chloe diffusion line). Might be worth a look OP and they aren’t ubiquitous as some other brands.

okiedokie1 · 16/07/2023 22:52

Marc Jacobs has had a little resurgence. It's lower end designer but not exactly high street. £500-£700 dresses and bags up to just under £1800 so def not what most people would consider high street
