Trainers to wear with dresses

I know this is a bit of a controversial subject on MN. I was hoping to get some recommendations for stylish daily looking trainers to wear with dresses. I have a lot of swing and skater type dresses, I don't often wear trousers. I usually wear ballet flats but would like some trainers for longer walks without looking like a geek.

Took me ages to get on board with this but I wear plain white Vans and love the look. Not keen on other trainer styles on me as they look clumpy.

Anything but Vejas. Stan Smiths, Vans, plain old white pumps from M&S, or similar.

Think I'll get some white vans. I wore my lovely black and white spotty vans vans today but they are too small since I had my DS 3 years ago.

Just got a pair of this brand and they are very comfortable. Limited sizes left in sale. Unisex but John Lewis have put in men's section.

I just got these and they're super comfy. They are slip on so I don't have to tuck the bow down the side (I don't like bows showing)

There are some very nice Rocket Dog sneakers. I know that comfortable canvas shoes are a necessity but I don't like trainers. Rocket Dog's are as untrainerlike as I've seen. Thank you.

Wedge trainers for sure. Converse style if going casual. Or I have sone black ones with sequins on for more glam look. So comfy n fashionable.

Why not veja? I have the esplar and much prefer them to stan smiths. They are a more shoe-like trainer so look better with dresses I think.

I have worn my New Balance 327s to death since I bought them and wear the with most things.

I love my New Balance 530 and wear them with everything, jeans, leggings, dresses, shorts. The most comfy trainers I’ve owned I could walk in them all day!

Guess have some nice ‘everyday trainers’ maybe the wrong word Amazon usually do then cheaper if your just wanting to try a pair out or tk maxx often have them in I think there really comfy.

Canvas superga, platform or not!

Adidas superstars. Although I generally only wear them in the winter as they are really warm.

I second the canvas superga, I love the platform espadrilles especially, really comfortable and look cool.

i have these exact ones with a little pop of blue. There are loads of lovely colours. They are chunky but I honestly love them & personally think they look great with everything!
