@AFingerofFudge - good news about the canvas trousers. did she mention if there might be other colours as well as indigo? I saw the walnut coloured dress in my local shop which looked amazing, and I would love a pair of those canvas trousers in that colour

@Noeggsontoast - I meant to say - that Maeve dress looks lovely on you. Is it from a recent collection? (I have been focusing on sale only as I don’t usually buy full price.)

@AFingerofFudge my Dad is my biggest fan of Toast, not any of my friends. I had some Toast dungarees and a workwear jacket on the other day and he said how he loved the painterly vibe. He's now got to the stage when he pays me a compliment to say, I bet that's Toast! Lol

As for the Maeve dress. Well I asked the chat for busst measurements for the 12 and the 14. Measuring my other dresses, I am annoyingly unsure which size I would buy so not further on! The 12 is 19.8 inches across and the 14 being 20.8 inches! I would most likely wear something under it so think it would need to be a 14 but would be worried the skirt would be too full.

Also trying [not successfully] to lose some pudgyiness so don't want it to be roomy after a few months at the price it is.

I am going to try the Maeve on next time I am in a store!

The sensible thing would be to lose the weight then buy it but I have a 15% voucher that Toast gave me that I want to use.

@Dee1224 yes it's current collection on the website. I bought it when the sale first went live as the green cardy that matched was less than half price and I wanted both pieces.

@neveradullmoment99 the skirt waist is definitely a loose easy fit, but the bodice definitely fitted. If I wear it without a cardigan I belt it, because I prefer shaping at the waist on me. It would take a very thin layer under but not a jumper, due to the bodice.

Anyone got the patchwork denim jacket from a few seasons ago? I got it today and it’s even better than I imagined, it’s also very big so I was lucky the Small fitted from Vinted! Is lovely.

Did you try the walnut dress on ? It caught my eye too but I felt as if it might be just a tad too walnutty for me. It’s quite an expanse of single block colour. Not sure if my colouring can take it. Good colour perhaps for separates ? I should have tried it on but am scared I will like it.

I bought it in the Winter sale ,such a versatile jacket for every season really.

I’m intrigued that people have luck with vinted , I find that searches dump a load of crap unrelated to Toast and it takes forever to sort through the listings .
Is there a way of searching that I don’t know?

Has anyone tried the Fayre dress? Reviews seem to think it’s small on the bust (surprise - not) . Sideline have a dress with a very similar vibe coming out per Instagram previews. I know one of you tried sideline last year but there was something about sizing. Can’t remember what and returns are not free as far as I know.

@OftenOrange very lucky! Also lucky the small fits as I thought I was pushing my luck. I search for ‘Toast’ and then I filter on brand and that way you can filter out all the pictures of beans on toast and crocheted pieces of toast, and also the adverts that say ‘reminds me of toast’ that are sneakily attracting attention. I do check it quite regularly so can snap stuff up.

Loving all the outfits in the last couple of days!

This evening I'm in the Collared Loop Back Jersey Sweatshirt in Conker from the last winter sale plus the vegan lentil-weave cotton linen tweed trousers from this sale.

It got a bit cold this afternoon and there are lots of mosquitoes and I wanted to be out for a while shooting the air rifle with my youngest son so long sleeves were needed.

@Noodle421 - no I didn't try it on (the changing room there is so small and hot), but I had a good proper look at it and I liked the weight of the fabric. It was an unusual shade (in a very good way). I imagine it would look amazing with a navy cardigan

@Snowyowl78 - I think @Laska2Meryls might have that jacket?

I have searches set up for various things and they email me every day with the results. No-one has ever sent me a listing for toast before but perhaps it's because I've narrowed the search down to particular items of clothing rather than just the word?
