Hi @dudsville - no, I didn’t get the refund emails - that’s what alerted me that there was a problem.

When Toast previously only refunded me for a tee, keeping the money for the rest of the order, I got a refund notification in the usual way. I only realised what had happened when I happened to look through my order history and saw ‘partially refunded’ next to an order that should have read ‘refunded’.

That problem was quickly resolved, (although Toast would have kept the money if I hadn’t flagged it and if I hadn’t had proof of postage showing the weight).

This time I have spent hours on chat, sent numerous emails and been on the phone. I asked to speak to someone more senior today and was told to call back on Monday. I really don’t think I am being unreasonable in thinking that someone should actually be phoning me!

Oh no @Dee1224! That'd really put a dampener on things. And yes, they should definitely be calling you back.

I've just sent 5 🙈 packages back this morning so hope they all make it and are refunded without a problem. Luckily it was the nice lady at the post office so she didn't bat an eyelid at the volume.

Wore the diamond trousers out today. I do feel a little as though I'm in my pyjamas (no other trousers are this comfortable) but I just don't care! 😁

Ah no, the black & gold ones. Quite damp here today.

@Dee1224 - hope that gets resolved. Fortunately my refunds have all gone through ok for those who are waiting.

For post sale consolation, I've just bought a Toast dress on Vinted 🙄

I'm heading to a Toast shop today - going to try the repair service for the first time on an old jumper. Might check out the new socks because I really need some - not.

Today I am in the Alix cotton linen trousers in dusty khaki. The viscose dresses and jumpsuits remain unworn - don't quite suit the weather. These Alixes aren't glamorous or inspiring but they are comfortable to wear and fit well.

Will report back if anything in the shop catches eye.

@Dee1224 - do you know for sure that they got your returned items? If not, if you used Royal Mail you can track each order online with the label you downloaded. Then you can be sure they actually got them

I had a problem with another company recently and I tracked my return and could see it had arrived, so I contacted them and as soon as they checked the tracking from the details I gave them, they instantly refunded

Hi @faustina - yes, my returns arrived as confirmed by tracking. I have told Toast this but still no refund. Apparently there is some IT issue, but that doesn’t help me. If I haven’t had a satisfactory response by Monday I will have to contact them again 🙃

@Dee1224 I’d say it’s definitely a size down at least one size. I got a size 10, but am very definitely a 12 top, and more often than not a size 14 bottom. Only sort of niggle I have with the dress is that the waistline falls from front centre to almost a dropped waist at the back on me, but I am short-waisted.

DDs use it a lot and I am finding it useful for cheap but very nice brand dresses / swimwear for hols.

Morning Toasties, I’m requesting some help please—has anyone purchased the scoop back swimsuit in brown (plum colour) and used in the water?

The suit fits me but is a little loose in the stomach area, not by much but I am wondering if it’s the type to get ‘saggy’? The material does feel very thin. Has anyone tried it out?!

I'm on a day out with friends and there happened to be a Toast store in the place we're visiting. Sadly none of the friends appreciate Toast (perhaps this is a good thing as we have a tendency to enable each other 😆)
Anyhow, I popped in while they were in another shop and dropped my returns off and while she processing them she said they've just had a look at the new September drop. Apparently those really nice new trousers in the cream canvas with a pleat at the side will be coming in an indigo colour which I'm excited about !

I love it too. Instantly cheering on this grey rainy day.

@AFingerofFudge i have friends/family who also don’t appreciate toast and make jokes about the Amish vibe… but then I get a compliment, several compliments actually about individual pieces and I enjoy telling them where they are from.

Not that I’m thinking towards autumn at all on this dull cold wet day but does anyone own a pair of the Sturlini tread sole boots (currently online in chocolate brown and a sell out last year). I need to replace some ancient brown boots and thought these might do the trick. I liked them last year but didn’t bite the bullet because of the cost. I’ve owned one pair of Sturlini shoes which had to be returned but hopefully that was just bad luck, most reviews about this brand are usually good, but I’m still a little apprehensive. Any feedback about these boots gratefully appreciated.

Although I’m thinking ahead a bit about boots/shoes, I have to say I’ve been giving a few of my Toast tops a little steam today , including the jasmine linen shirt and am really savouring what I have already. It’s been a good sale, beautiful items at good prices and I’m very happy with my purchases ( including a couple of non sale items too). My credit card is now going to have a rest !

@mizu - bargain! I'll post mine on here when it arrives. Mine was also a good price- which means an easy sell on if it doesn't suit.

My store visit wasn't hugely fruitful in terms of wish list. A couple of things were much nicer in real life than online (cotton slub tank tops and scoop neck stripe tees) but I wasn't in the mood to try on.
