Going strong for more than 8 years! Full of great reviews, reports of empties and despair over our ever growing stashes!

Haven’t been on in ages, the new job is killing me. 😩 I regret all my decisions. Have considered quitting every single day.

anyway, a few empties:

cosrx snail mucin Will repurchase at some point, my local k-beauty stockist is temporarily closed and Amazon seems to have a long posting wait at the moment for some reason.

the inkey list oat cleansing balm loved this for the price. Will repurchase when I wander past a Sephora.

Frank body super ceramide night cream also repurchasing, I’m convinced this is the moisturiser that changed my skin.

korres Greek yoghurt gentle cleanser also repurchasing when it’s back in stock. I do have an unopened mini but I was hoping to save it for travelling, but might get desperate enough to open it.

Sol de Janeiro río deo smells nice but not an effective deodorant. Not repurchasing.

@Fraaahnces im sure you’ve already said somewhere but where do you order your k-beauty from? And is it quick post? (Though I am in Perth so add an extra month 😆)

@Peridot1 I look forward to hearing your review about the Purito Sunscreen. Given that both of my piglet-skinned daughters are off to the beach, my sunscreen stash has been depleted, and I just finished three. I shall be buying more once I finish the Round Labs one I’m using every day. (It’s also lovely, btw, and will be finished before the week is out. I have an extensive shopping list on Stylevana that I am culling.)

They’re relatively new, but have an Aussie warehouse. Postage is still glacial speed, though. Something about the website makes me think it’s Stylevana lurking under another name. They ALSO have virtually the same stock in an Aussie warehouse that suddenly appeared at the same time. They ARE a little bit cheaper than SV when buying from here, but their stock is limited compared to SV. If they don’t have the specific product I want, I usually look to SV, only buying when it states that it is in stock. Do not believe their “usually ships within 30 days” codswallop.

Another Aussie store that I quite like is this one…https://www.wcosmetics.com.au/ Their sale prices are often compatible with Stylevana. They actually have a couple shopfronts here in Brisbane and I find them very handy to try out items.

They’re more expensive (USD) but do amazing sales and also have great BOGO offers. Worthwhile downloading the apps and comparing prices.

There’s always YesStyle too, and their postage is great as well. I only buy on sale there too. I haven’t found amazing bargains otherwise.

One empty. Wow Intensive Dead Sea Aromatic Multipurpose Cream. This was good. Sinks in well on the body but rich enough to be an effective hand cream. Doesn't smell of anything much either. Would happily RP if I didn't have tons of others to use already. Comes in a large tub 350ml.

@Fraaahnces - I actually started using the Purito for a few days a couple of weeks ago as was going away and didn’t think the Supergoop would last the trip. I like it so far.

@StarryNightAddict - being miserable at work is the pits. Hope it improves. I’m off to Greece on Friday so may treat myself to the Korres yoghurt cleanser. Have a bit of a stubborn rosacea breakout so need to switch to sensitive skin products for a bit I think so that sounds idea. And I always buy some Korres coming through the airport on the way home.

I’m planning a bit of a sort out of products today. There is stuff opened on my dressing table that I never reach for so I’m planing a clear out of those. Want to sort what skincare I’m taking away with me. Thought I had that sorted but this stubborn rosacea patch means I need to look at it again as am now using two medications- Soolantra and Rozex.

@Fraaahnces made a small purchase on beauty amora to check their glacial postage speed. 😆

I’ll head to Priceline or chemist warehouse and find a cheapy hydrating serum to get me through while I wait.

@StarryNightAddict You and I must have a similar skincare routine - I’ve also got the Cosrx snail, the Inkey List oat balm and the Korres cleanser on the go at the moment.

Some little empties from last week:

Nuxe Very Rose cleansing gel mask - 15ml mini. I really liked this. It had a jelly consistency that felt really cooling and soothing on the skin. I’m not the biggest fan of rose scents, but this wasn’t too strongly scented (despite the name).

Paco Rabanne Olympea - 15ml. I blind bought this as I liked the notes (salty vanilla) but I didn’t love it. It’s very much a summer perfume for me and it’s taken me a couple of summers to get through this mini bottle. Won’t be repurchasing.

Huda Beauty lip balm - I got this in a beauty box and ended up liking it much more than I expected. It’s really hydrating and soothing and lasted on the lips pretty well. I did use it up pretty quickly though, so probably not good value for me.

Then just a couple of sample sachets of shampoo and conditioner, which left my hair too floppy and flat. I did also finish a bar of Waitrose camomile soap and I hit pan on an eyeshadow in my Too Faced palette. It was the easy, ivory matte shade, but still a rare event!

Kat Burki cleanser. I really like it. Got it in a Caroline Hirons kit. Odd smell that some may not like. Not repurchasing as stash still full.

Beauty Pie Japanfusion serum. Wasn’t wowed at the beginning of using but quite liked it ultimately. Have cancelled BP though so won’t repurchase

The Nue Co cleanser. Didn’t love it and have had it ages. Then realised it’s not empty - the dark glass makes it hard to tell and in the sun yesterday I realised it’s still half full. But it’s going anyway as I don’t really like it.

Revolution salicylic serum. Not an empty but it’s not helped as the spots I was trying to use it on are actually rosacea not just spots so it’s going.

Chantecaille Jasmine and Lily mask - quite like it but don’t seem to remember to use it. Have an unopened one in my stash and this is quite old so although not totally done it’s going.

OTO Eye cream. From last year’s John Lewis advent calendar. I’ve used over half of it and really don’t like it so it’s going.

@Peridot1 bet they prove me wrong and expedite postage to you. Glad you like the Purito. I really like how KBeauty sunscreens double-up as treatments too. The difference between western and KBeauty ones is the priorities - western are skincare with sunscreen and KBeauty is sunscreen with skincare.

I think I must have started lots of (long lasting) things at the same time as I've had hardly any empties lately!

Loreal Elvive hyaluronic shampoo - I like this and have been using a while, but now getting bored of it. Have another bottle to use up and then I'll mix it up.

Beauty Japanfusion light moisturiser - I liked this and would have considered RPing but apparently it's been discontinued 🙄 I like this range so might try the other moisturiser at some point.

I have been having way too many bad hair days recently & it really gets me down. So I bit the bullet and spent a shed load on recommended products from some dude off the internet. They arrived yesterday and I have used the shampoo, conditioner & leave in conditioner this morning. My hair sure feels nice.

My face has been a bit of a spotty oily mess of late so I've had a bit of a superdrug splurge and got the B hydrate moisturiser and serum, a spot treatment and also trying the maybelline skin tint foundation.

3 more empties.

The last of my Lacura Q10 serums. It grew on me so I might RP.

A hyaluronic serum I got in TK MAXX. I liked this. Nice consistency, absorbed well and pleasant scent.

Clinique Moisturise Surge. I'm quite meh about this. I need something a bit heavier weight at this stage.

a month ago some of you were talking about Flex. In Spain they still have them, at least in Primor.

@Fraaahnces nothing exciting, just a restock of snail mucin because you can never have too much, beauty of joeson sunscreen because I want to give it a second chance, and some centella face masks to make up the free shipping 😆

73) IGK dry shampoo - good, but there are cheaper products that do the same thing

I was watching the hairdresser dude on YT again - I think where I may have been going wrong with dry shampoo is using it on sweaty hair... and I think sweat is what screws up my hair and makes me wash it so often. Anyhoo this morning I am going to try the bonding treatment he suggests as a weekly treatment. Wish me luck!
