I'm in heaven - I discoverd a local indie perfumery a while ago via Instagram and I made it to the actual shop to visit it today. I was going to go yesterday but I put perfume on in the morning - I resisited wearing scent this morning so I was all frangrance free & ready to try the new ones.

I was treated to a one on one review of all their scents (they have 10 at the moment) & treated myself to 2 x 50 ml bottles of new fragrance. I haven't had a new fragrance in ages - which really isn't a hardship as I do have quite a large collection. But its a lovely treat to have found a new house/nose.

I went for Folkestone Green which is really fresh, garden greens and earth

and Ocean Tansy which is perfect for me as I swim in the sea most days - its like a sweet, fresh beach scent and a really strange dark blue colour.

SOTD Nishane Ani. Wasn't too sure about this on first wear, but on a warm day it really blooms. Glorious stuff.

Loving the enabling going on @TheClitterati and @bonfirebash - am absolutely skint but that perfume edit does look interesting...

@TheClitterati those scents look lovely and, as a Kent coast swimmer myself, very appropriate!

I love the 10ml bottles too - it's great to see more houses do this as it makes it so much more affordable to indulge 😁

All the Nishane frags I’ve tried have worked in hot weather tbf, which isn’t surprising really because they are a Turkish house. I most recently wore Hacivat and that was lovely too.

SOTD is cheap, gourmand and fun: Banana Flambé by Demeter.

Fuck, the last thing I need is enabling 😭

Not that that’s going to stop me! I shall look the discovery set up.

SOTD Byredo Gypsy Water. I know people say this has no longevity (which I don't actually agree with, it must like my skin) but I find it such a good all-rounder that I enjoy wearing at any time of the year.

@TheClitterati those perfumes sound so lovely. I'm very tempted to try the discovery set.

SOTD Zara Jo’s Rhubarb, for a hot day WFH. It doesn’t last very long, buts it’s lovely while it does.

Very sad to receive an email today from Allbeauty about their new website - it was exactly as I’d feared; another online beauty retailer now part of The Hut Group and that will use all their annoying marketing, pricing and excessive emailing practices ☹️

On which subject - if you go through Quidco today you get 30% cashback off all perfumes already in the Look Fantastic summer sale (lots of Tom Ford among other things…).

SOTD Delina, which I regretted immediately. I have a sample and I'd forgotten I hate it 😒 Had to pop out to the chemist and spray on a sample of something else to cover it, but it's a stubborn beast.

SOTD (at the moment) Parfums Berdoues Assam of India. Nice enough, bright and fresh with a tea note that I enjoy, but it's not wildly interesting. Still, might not want anything more complex in this weather!

I know this isn't in the spirit of the thread, put you seem to be the right people to ask!
Has anyone smelt Molecule 01 - is it for men or women or either?
Can you compare the smell to anything mainstream?

Someone said it smells amazing & I would be buying it "blind" online.

@doozledog Another recommendation for Next Summer Sun as an alternative to Bronze Goddess.

M&S also have several good summer options and their own brand perfumes are very affordable.

it’s definitely unisex. It adapts to individual body chemistry, so it will smell different on every person. Some people can’t smell it themselves, but others will smell it on them.
