I've caught the ear piercing bug and can't decide what to get done next. I currently have 3 lobe on my left and 4 lobe and tragus done on my right. Looking for inspiration.
Please show me your beautiful ears ☺️

Love it @Bearsinmotion! How painful was the double?

Bearsinmotion · 19/03/2024 00:09

Not bad at all actually. Had it done Friday, no significant pain or swelling since either.

MintIcecreams · 20/03/2024 14:27

I've just booked my conch for next week 😁

Swiftbushome · 20/03/2024 14:29

@MintIcecreams Yay!!

I keep booking in to get my 3rds done but then I have an issue with an existing piercing so i end up cancelling!

My rook has been playing up and the bar fell out which I couldn't get back in so I had to have a hoop in it. My husband managed to get the bigger bar back in eventually and then we changed my daith which has been done 2 years but that was bleeding and sore! He has had enough of fiddling with them now so he said if I get any more too soon he won't help me again.

How are you supposed to do these things alone?? Its seemingly impossible, he struggles to do it being able to see as well.

I'm assuming people don't remove everything at night.

How often are people removing and cleaning. My holes get a horrible funky smell if I don't do it twice weekly. Just a cheesy stink.

The only earrings I change regularly are my first and second holes, they've been done for years. Never clean them.

Nea piercings I clean twice daily for a bit then once a day then stop around 4-6 weeks unless they start to flare up. I only change the earrings to downsize or if I'm having issues like one of them loses a ball and I can't get it back on.

Oh I have this same problem! My rook is the biggest pain in the arse in this respect. When the ball falls off I can't get my hands in the right position so I have to get my DH to do it. I got some hemostats off Amazon which makes it a bit easier but it still takes ages and makes it swell up. I can't imagine doing a daith.

Hey everybody!! I've loved reading everything you've posted and your ears are all stunning. I have double lobes, a conch, and helix on my left ear. Double lobes and a tragus on my right. The tragus and conch aren't healed yet! Does anyone have suggestions on future piercings? I hope to have a hoop in my conch eventually.. Additionally, I am hoping to prevent my ears from looking too busy, so any advice would be great :))

Please don't mind how frizzy my hair is in these photos haha

@KhakiEagle I think the ear with the tragus piercing would look good with something at the top for balance. How about a flat? Or a little hoop through your rook?

Bearsinmotion · 23/03/2024 06:49

Agree that a flat would look good on the ear with the tragus @KhakiEagle !

I didn’t want my ears to be too busy either but I have just booked for another Tragus and forward helix for my ear with the double conch 😳. Hidden helix and then I am done. Honest.

KhakiEagle · 23/03/2024 16:09

@Swiftbushome
Thank you so much for the input, I never even considered a flat! Some of my friends want to get matching mid helix piercings this next week which I would on the ear with the tragus as well..

KhakiEagle · 23/03/2024 16:11

@Bearsinmotion I think we are all that way 🤭 If you're willing you should post a picture with your new piercings! I would love to see :)

KhakiEagle · 23/03/2024 19:05

I'm leaning towards this being the final set up for my right ear.. Any suggestions/ideas for altering?

Could go for a forward helix instead of a rook?

Conch piercing tomorrow. I don't know why but I'm getting a bit nervous. All my other cartilage piercings have been fine to get. It doesn't hurt that much, does it?!

My conch was significantly less painful than any of my other cartlidge piercings (helix and rook) and healed one of the easiest too because its tucked away

The square is unusual - is to one or two holes?

Nah. It throbbed for a couple of hours afterwards. I took some ibuprofen and slept with my head slightly elevated the first night but that’s it. Just be careful with hair brushing.

MintIcecreams · 28/03/2024 17:32

Thanks both. Just having a wobble 😂My tragus, rook and helix were all fine so no idea why. The only one I ever found painful was my nose.

My piercer said that if she ever gets asked to reccomend a piercing its always a conch because its not particularly painful and its usually unproblematic to heal.

I always get a wobble before 🤣

Thats good to know. I've just been poking at my ear and thinking "oh crap, it's really thick" 😂
