Oil cleansing has completely changed the texture of my skin, no more breakouts and angry red patches. My skin is calm and smooth.
SPF+ actives, like niacin amide, AHA and BHA

Wagsandclaws · 08/01/2023 13:58

I'm now 8 weeks in using rapid lash, eyelashes are extra curly now and a little longer - I'll report back in another 4 weeks to see if they've got any longer.

Blepharoplasty - three weeks ago. Life changing and I feel great

Most famous example is George Clooney! It really opened up his face and unlike most celebs was really open about it

jibbe · 08/01/2023 16:09

So many tips it’s fantastic

Skin and me - fabulous stuff! I saw a family member in October and had to ask what make up she was wearing as I couldn’t get over her glow. Turns out she wasn’t wearing a scrap of make up and it was all down Uk the skincare. I started it and my skin has never been better, acne has finally gone!

I have a link here for anyone interested, for full disclosure I think I might get a credit off my next box if it’s used:

Thank you! I used the link today and had assessment feedback earlier. Looking forward to seeing the results

@MintyFreshOne thank you 😊

What benefits did you see from micro needling?

It's the one treatment that I can guarantee within 2 weeks someone will compliment me on my skin .. asking me what I'm using it just glows

MavisMcMinty · 08/01/2023 19:49

As a beauty box addict I try loads of things, but always go back to Elemis, it’s the only brand I purposefully buy (at QVC where good deals can be found). Big fan of 111Skin diamond eye masks too, and I’m not usually a believer in eye masks. Don’t use them before bed though, it’s a waste, the effects don’t last long (on me anyway).

I'm curious about the recovery time for this procedure. Do you mind telling us how it was for you and how you chose a doctor? Thank you!

I hope you’ll love it as much as I do! I bumped into a friend in Sainsburys earlier who said my skin was glowing. I’ve literally never had that before. It’s such an amazing compliment to receive as I’ve hated my skin throughout my 20s and 30s!

FeelingwearyFeeelingsmall · 09/01/2023 17:50

Lip liners filler (I think the dr uses Juvederm). II smooths out the cats bum lines and adds definition.

Also botox. And thread lifts.

HowDoYouOwnDisorder · 09/01/2023 17:56

What age for lip line fillers? I’ve never er particularly noticed these in other people, just smokers who are maybe 70+

katesbushh · 09/01/2023 22:05

With regards to the botox looking like you've had botox... that's usually down to the practitioner. Good botox you can't tell. I know people argue that but honestly you can't.
I still have movement in my face. I just don't look like I'm in the worst mood ever. It makes my face neutral not angry.

That said- a lot of people I treat actually do like the heavier look. More frozen.
That too can be subtle as long as you don't over inject and leave them in a permanent state of surprise.

If you're unsure about botox then I'd always recommend starting with Microneedling.
It really does get some extremely good results and is my favourite treatment to receive and give.
Only second to... botox haha.

jibbe · 09/01/2023 23:23

Microneedling is on my list !!!

I love profilo 😂😂 really made a difference to my skin but I guess we all get different results.

Botox, subtle filler, micro bladed brows - game changers.

Teeth whitening (properly done at the dentists), oh my gosh - so many compliments on my smile!

DillDanding · 10/01/2023 00:19

Yy. Enlighten tooth whitening. I wish I’d had it done years ago. It’s fantastic.

Ooh I've always wanted to try this! Did you go for zoom? How much did it cost if you don't mind me asking.

VictoriaBun · 10/01/2023 09:36

Yes agree the only skincare that will work is one that can penetrate the skin barrier.
Yes retinol works , but you need the one that is by prescription for it to really work.
try Dermatica. You get sent it monthly (and can skip or cancel at any time.)
I've set mine to receive every 6 weeks as I find it's enough for that time.
it will cost less than £3 for the first month then 25% off for the 2nd. Using my code will give me £5 my next month.

It was years ago Jodiewa, and the technique was the one where bespoke moulds are made, you then just purchase phials of the 'bleach', and do your teeth as and when you feel it's necessary. I do mine once or twice a year now, for about ten days. When I say ten days, I use the moulds twice a day for ten days, an hour a session. I think the moulds cost between £500 and £700, I'm still using the same ones. A phial of the bleach solution is £20. I know that there are other methods available, using lights which give quicker results, but I was assured by my dentist that using moulds was the safest way, with no damage to my teeth. That was important to me, so I've kept to it. I suppose I started about fifteen years ago.

I do mine with the dental moulds too

Using L’Oreal products every morning and evening makes a visible difference and has definitely reduced lines and I do look younger.
