Black Diamond facial best facial ever, anti aging love it.i have a regular beautician ive known years so i dont like anyone but her doing nails pedi or facial.

This thread could end up very expensive for me! Love to hear what works for others though as product reviews can be very hit and miss.

Surprised not to see collagen supplements here, I’ve been taking them for a few years and think I can see a difference (enough to make me too scared to stop taking them anyway) but I may be deluding myself.

Has anyone tried Oralift? Thinking of giving it a go, it’s £220 to buy off their website and around £500 if fitted by a dentist - it’s supposed to train the facial muscles which leads to a sort of mini facelift - sounds too good to be true I know 😀

Microblading ny eyebrows. Electolysis

I wonder if any eyebrow experts can recommend something for me?

My eyebrows are naturally thin and arched, and thanks to being middle-aged, grow quite long (I snip them) and I get the odd white one. Sound a right catch, don’t I?

I get them tinted, as they’re fair, but I would like them thicker. I don’t think micro blading will work, as I don’t have gaps, as such.

Is there anything anyone would recommend to stop me looking like Elizabeth I?

Please have a think about microblading. I'm blonde, and my eyebrows were almost invisible. My partner of twenty two years and I split up, and after a period of time I found a new man to share my life with. I was so self conscious that I looked liked an egg when I removed my makeup at night times!! Had brows microbladed .... oh my gosh ... what a difference! I wish I'd had them done years ago!

Hi! I had ombré brows done on Friday, and I can’t believe the difference!

Dollyblue123 · 08/01/2023 08:27

I would love to try Botox, people I know that have had it think they look good but to me they look shocking 🤪 it’s so obvious. Only my opinion though!

LVL doesn’t last long and is expensive, but may start having again, as it’s a popular opinion.

It depends on who you go to though.

Chances are you know loads of people who do have it, don’t tell you and it’s not obvious.

If it’s not been done well.

Snippedasababy · 08/01/2023 08:31

That last line didn’t make sense. I missed a bit. If it’s obvious, it’s not been done well.

Dollyblue123 · 08/01/2023 08:32

Thank you, yes maybe, I’m not ruling it out!

Sorry no. MY last line didn’t make sense. You made sense 😁

Only have it if you want to. But it’s really worth spending a lot of time looking into it and who to go to. And often the cheapest are the cheapest because they aren’t great.

DipmeinChoc · 08/01/2023 08:42

Lash lift. I really love it, I already have long and dark lashes but the older I get, the straighter they are. I don't like wearing mascara every day, a lash lift gives me the mascara effect every morning. Worth every penny for me.
I've not braved any needles in my face yet, botox or fillers and I'll try to avoid it if I can.

🤪 I read your reply again, my mistake.
Definitely not ruling out Botox I will do my research.

Hi Duncan biscuits,
I looked at the ombre brows while researching what I thought I needed. They're great aren't they? I honestly can't believe the difference!

Soosi · 08/01/2023 10:09

Hi Mejane. How long do you leave this oil on for. Don’t really want to sleep with it on as it’ll stain my pillowcase. !

DillDanding · 08/01/2023 10:36

I have a look at sheldonlouise on IG (I think it was on this thread that she was mentioned).

Wow, her micro bladed brows are fab.

The powder brows though. Bloody awful - that really fake, solid look is now, thankfully, really dated.

Onehappymam · 08/01/2023 11:09

@SlayB check out haileydallasbrows on insta. Look at the before/after microbladed pics.

Onehappymam · 08/01/2023 11:09

Doubtful that she’s anywhere near you right enough, but she trains others.

Jodiewa · 08/01/2023 11:49

Vitamin c serum
retinol
the ordinary facial oil instead of hand cream
botox
fillers
blusher!

Skin and me - fabulous stuff! I saw a family member in October and had to ask what make up she was wearing as I couldn’t get over her glow. Turns out she wasn’t wearing a scrap of make up and it was all down Uk the skincare. I started it and my skin has never been better, acne has finally gone!

I have a link here for anyone interested, for full disclosure I think I might get a credit off my next box if it’s used:

I've been inspired by this and used your code, i wonder how many others on MN did too? Enjoy the referrals!

HowDoYouOwnDisorder · 08/01/2023 12:37

JFM27 · 08/01/2023 13:05

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream. Expensive but changed my skin. I gave it up for a while whilst on an economy drive but I've gone back to it.

I love this too.

1980sfookup · 08/01/2023 13:08

Blepharoplasty - three weeks ago. Life changing and I feel great

AbsolutePixels · 08/01/2023 13:27

Has anyone tried Oralift?

I want to try this too. Would love to hear some reviews, but I've never seen it discussed on here until today.
