Thread for anyone who has the LiB 2022 advent calendar and would like to discuss contents.

In line with the waifs and strays thread I suggest no earlier than 7am for discussing that days contents? Also if we can try to minimise naming the contents still to come as I've tried to forget!

I have Flannels too, I think it was Molecule 04? I haven't opened it yet but I have Molecule 05 and I like it. Will try 04 tonight and report back!

I really like the molecule 01 + patchouli, and want to try the mandarin version. But I really can’t smell the standard molecule 01 at all!

So was mine! No shampoo for me...or anything at all.

Sorry to hear some of you had empty boxes today.
I got this calendar as it didn't have lots of make up (I barely wear any so already have more than I need). But love the opportunity to try lots of higher end skin care and hair products to see which I might like to buy again. I would never have bought all these products separately so it's been great for me.
So far I'm liking the Biossance oil, the eye rescue and the Summer Fridays jetlag mask makes my skin feel great the next day.
I tried the Medik8 glycolic overnight mask yesterday. It did make my skin very tight and a little red at first but died down fairly quickly. I'll try again but not wowed so far.

Right it was Molecule 04 but I also can't really smell it! Disappointed as I do like Molecule 05. But the way I see it is that's the beauty (oop) of the beauty advent calendar. I got to try this without spending... £43?! Wow did not expect it to be so pricey. Will try wearing it out a few times to see if other people can smell it on me.

@BrokeAsABone I am being sent a replacement shampoo and a goody bag apparently.

Fenty lip gloss with a keychain today... Just what I've always needed. This is a dud for me, but I've been expecting it. Really like the look of the Delilah eyeshadow stick we got yesterday.

I agree, the lip gloss and keychain is being swiftly passed on to my niece. I’m not a lip gloss fan in general.

I like the Delilah stick, I tried it both as an allover shadow and an eyeliner but preferred it as an eyeliner with blue eyes. I might be tempted to get another one in a different colour

I’m 50:50 on the gloss- it’s nice to have one and I like the colour for the 4 appropriate occasions I wear it - but the keychain? Hmm.

I’ve enjoyed last few days- useful pretty eyeshadow stick, nail coat and the shampoo. All lovely.

Been following the other threads- very glad I didn’t get the H&B!

@Zoetrope1 I’ll definitely look out for LiB next year but I have to say Liberty and HN also look good. I wish more calendars had some gentle but treat-y cleansers in them. Tomorrow I am going to see how many bits I can wear all at once!

@Lurkingshark I have the H&B too and I think it's fine? Or do you mean you were choosing between the two? LiB is loads better but it was a lot more expensive. I've just read the H&B thread so can see the complaints but I paid £35 and I've definitely had my money's worth from it. I haven't particularly liked a couple of the products (shampoo bar for example) and tbf if I had bought it as a surprise I'd probably have been disappointed cos the contents are quite functional. But it's decent value

@KimmySchmitt ha that’s interesting! I was basing it off that. I liked the fact it was more affordable but still had new bits plus I assume people do a bit of research- so was a bit surprised about the negative reviews. Good to know for next year.

I actually love that shampoo bar - goes to show how personal it all is. Case in point black eyeliners… I’d have them all!

I don't know if my lip gloss is a dud or if this is a reflection on Fenty in general, but the metallic coating on the applicator bit flakes off horribly. So if you're regifting, paws off unless you want it to look like it's been rattling around in your bag for a month.

I do like the actual gloss though.

I'll use this (minus the keyring) so it's an OK day but definitely not a wow day.

This is already in my DD’s stocking she likes Fenty gloss so this is a bit of a win for me (her!)

Yesterdays eye shadow stick was nice, easy to wear colour and I wore it for my work makeup today.
The lip gloss, hmm, not sure!

Was looking forward to the lip gloss but I've discovered Kylie lip glosses are much better lasting on me than the Fenty ones.

I probably wouldn’t buy one of those on principle. Loathsome family intent on monetising every aspect of their lives, their children’s lives and their children’s children’s lives.
