Thread for anyone who has the LiB 2022 advent calendar and would like to discuss contents.

In line with the waifs and strays thread I suggest no earlier than 7am for discussing that days contents? Also if we can try to minimise naming the contents still to come as I've tried to forget!

Also got a smaller version of this in the JL advent . Want to see what the fuss is about but I’m a little wary as my skin can be sensitive to intensive treatments. I’ll give the smaller bottle a go and if it’s a winner I’ll keep this, if not it can go on Vinted

Good size today, I do find it can sting and I'm used to tret. Think I'll keep it and use it though.

Ooh I'd forgotten this was in the AC but it's one of the ones I was really looking forward to trying. Annoyingly I recently opened a similar product so should probably finish it first.. but my willpower is fading 😂

@Buster27 me too! I have a BHA exfoliant and a glycolic acid open AND a little bit of the ordinary AHA BHA peeling solution to use up. Trying to convince myself that this is different..

This is a bit random but I’ve been finding this advent not as exciting as my other ones and I think it’s got nothing to do with the products, but all to do with the bland black and white case. And the first few items were similarly monochrome in packaging. I am obsessed with colour and I’ve definitely perked up with the beautiful pink biossance oil and today’s kate Somerville!

I agree, it feels like opening the contents of a large beauty box in 25 drawers. If the contents were in a Fortnum and Mason style box it would feel a little more exciting. Think I feel more enthusiastic about my JL one for this reason even though some of the products are half the size of LIB!

I agree I have JL too and bought LIB purely because I think the contents are brilliant but I have it squirrelled away under my bed as it is my stock pile advent and actually I am not bothered about opening it. I just check this thread every day instead to remind myself what is in it . In saying that I may drag it out later to look at the lipstick colour from yesterday!

Morning, not been on for a couple of days as been busy.
The lipstick was ok for me, maybe a bit too brown but not awful.
The advent packaging is a bit bland isn't it? I think they were trying for sophisticated so people might be happy to have it sat on a dressing table. I have been thinking though that as it is only black and white I may reuse filled with bits and pieces for my teen boys next year.
TODAYS - MAULI HAIR OIL
Bit disappointed there was no spiel at all on the bottle so I've had to dig out the leaflet which came with the advent. This says "Formulated with 15 rare amino acids and rejuvenating actives. Mauli's award winning treatment oil nourishes the scalp and adds thickness and shine to lacklustre hair."
My scalp needs some attention for sure but I haven't even tried the olaplex yet and got a couple of hair treatments in the beauty box that came with this so feel a little inundated with hair stuff at the moment!

I’m not excited by, but will definitely use the hair oil after swimming. We get so many in advents and goody bags I never have to purchase!

Probably one of the poorer drawers for me, my hair is actually in good condition for once. One to save for the summer I think.

I don't mind the styling of the box, I have this and Flannels and both are black and white. Although actually I had F&M last year and the box did add to it.

What do you do with the hair oil?

Ahh thank you for this. This is a bit different to my other hair oil then, I usually just put a couple of drops onto my palms and run through wet hair and then blow dry. This seems like more of a treatment

I love today’s perfume! I received the original molecule 1 in the Selfridges calendar and prefer this version with a hint of patchouli.

Argh I forgot to try the hair oil last night, will try and remember tonight! Really pleased with today's as I've been wanting to try this but I'm on a perfume buying ban until I use up some of my stash. Also got the Molecule 01 + Mandarin in my free box so hopefully I like them!

I’m skipping ahead a bit as leaving in a few days so need to have finished, you guys have some great treats ahead!

I gave the perfume a quick spray this am and am not sure. Think I'd prefer the mandarin one, the patchouli reminds me too much of Joss sticks and oil perfumes from the hippy shop I used a lot as a teen!
I tried the dry shampoo from a few days ago today as hair needed a wash but wanted to wait until later. Really liked it, worked well and smelt good.

Day 11, a lovely pillow spray from Bamford!

It is lovely isn't it? Not sure I'll remember to use at bedtime but sprayed some as more of a room scent earlier whilst faffing in the bedroom.

Ooh well I like this. My son has nicked my this works and this is new brand for me.
I’m enjoying this calendar but did do a lot of looking at them all. Knowing all the calendars have a lot of hair stuff which are not my bag, I’m quite liking these.

Liberty last few years felt like a different (pricier) experience but I’ve never gone in for beauty boxes so it feels like a treat.

I sprayed the sleep spray on my pajamas that have just been washed today. It's a lovely scent. I'm a fan of the this works spray which isn't as nice a scent so will see how this measures up for helping me sleep

I've only recently gotten into pillow spray so very happy to get one today.
I tried the eyeliner from a previous day today.. after saying I felt 'meh' about it (prefer liquid eyeliner) it turns out I really like it! So a nice find for me.

Had this product a few times in calendars / gwps but always happy to receive another. It smells like summer holidays, in contrast to the snow/ice outside!
