General beauty advent calendar opening thread - all welcome

As in previous years, this is a thread for all those opening beauty advent calendars not covered by specific threads, though happy for any to be posted here too. We’d also love to hear about other non-beauty calendars.

Only one ask please, do not disclose contents of calendars before 7am on the relevant day.

I’ll be opening the Liberty and Fortnum and Mason calendars. Possibly also Latest in Beauty, assuming it arrives on time.

Only two sleeps to go - looking forward to it!

My main calendar is Jo Loves, which is my birthday/Xmas present from my husband. I've also bought both of the Harrods calendars, and I bought last year's Acqua di Parma from TK Maxx a couple of weeks ago for £112. And I've also got the M&S mini walnut whip calendar 😊 When are people starting to open the 12 days of Christmas calendars? I was assuming that I would open my Harrods 12 days starting on Xmas Day.

Apparently it's meant to be from Boxing Day. I've got the Harrods fragrance one and I'm looking forward to that one!

Oh my gosh I am SO EXCITED. I have wanted one of these advent calendars for
YEARS but we live outside UK and they're not a thing here, and it's impossible to get anything like that sent here. Somehow my teenage daughter and my husband worked together to surprise me with the L''occitane advent calendar. I have no idea how they did it, but I am thrilled!

I've already opened my first door, but I'm not sure what time it is in UK so I won't post what it was. SO excited.

It's finally here!
I've opened JL and Fenwick's this morning (saving the more random ones for when DH gets home from travelling this evening).

JL was the Olaplex no. 3 hair perfector and Fenwick's was Ormonde Jayne Muscat perfume. The perfume is a clear winner for me today - it's a lovely warm ambery smell, slightly spicy. I struggle to use hair stuff that you have to leave in then wash out after 10 minute.

Sephora had an Elmo’s apricot toner and a Pai rosehip cleanser both full size and I got a 3 ginger tea - a really good start x

M&S have a REN dark circle eye cream....I need it big time this morning.

Well it was a slightly uninspiring start to Clinique calendar this morning...a mini face wash. A bit meh but hopefully upwards from here. Still feeling a bit sore that its been discounted since I bought it!! I'm not sure anyone else has the Clinique one on here?

Yes, we have finally got to 1st Dec! Can’t find a separate Glossybox thread, today’s is an Iconic London dual contouring compact. It’s too dark for me and I’m too old for contouring but I may use it as eyeshadow as the colours would work on me for that. Unless the formula makes me look like Alice Cooper. Again. 😁

@loz12345 that’s a great start to the calendar, I remember seeing unboxing videos for Sephora thinking it looked great.

I got a serum from Mutha in my Elle calendar today, don’t think it’s full size but decent at 15ml so I’m happy with that!
