Has anyone got the m and s one this year? I got it last year and absolutely loved it, was great to try lots of different things and some things I went on to buy through the year. This year's doesn't sound as good though?

Had a look at it in store today. There are only 12 items that I liked so it's a no from me. It's a bit repetitive to last year.

It's a very different AC year when none of the 'big' ones are selling out like all previous years...

I have just ordered it. I really think I’ll enjoy it and use most of the products. Last year’s introduced me to products I wouldn’t previously have considered and I have bought them since. That’s a lovely result I think.

I bought some jeans from M&S yesterday so I had a look at the advent calendar. In the store they have a little display of all the contents. The sizes are small - samples and travel sizes really - but the stuff I like is stuff that I already have full bottles of, so the AC isn’t as good value as it seems.

The JL one is perfect for me - higher end and full sizes, so it feels like a real treat. M&S feels like paying for samples.

Does anyone know if Amazon is going to release one this year? Got one as a present last year and the recipient loved it but can't see any sign this time

If anyone is still thinking about the LIB Sunday Times Style AC there is now a code for £20 off (STSAC20) and a free summer style box if you order this weekend. I’d been dithering over this one but now ordered

I've been thinking about the summer box since this summer so this would be great.
It doesn't come up as free when I use the code with AC in the basket.
How do you order to get the free summer box?

Wondering if Boots will be doing their Showstopper box this year, anyone heard anything? It came out early-ish November last year as I recall.

I got M&S for my mum as I think there's a few products in there that she'll like. I'll probably end up with the stuff that she doesn't want!

The email I received says if you order the calendar with the £20 code either today or tomorrow then you will get the summer style box with the order. It hasn’t come up on the order confirmation but I’ve assumed I would get one given the date of my order as there was no other code to apply and the T&Cs say brow shade may vary (there are 2 shades to choose from) so I thought I’d just get whichever one they sent rather than adding one to my basket with the calendar. I’ve just emailed them to make sure.
