@JustWhatIAlwaysWanted I've already got Cult Beauty but I keep looking at Next too, I don't think they normally do Black Friday sales so not sure if it will get reduced at all but I'll probably end up with it either way...Smaller sizes as you would expect at that price point but lots of things I really like or would like to try.

@Passmeaplacard my JL Winter Radiance box arrived yesterday too & it is rather lovely.
I'm loving all the perfumes especially Juliette Has A Gun's 'Ego Stratis' which I'm wearing today. It reminds me of a mixture of Tom Daxon's Iridium & YSL's Libre

I can also see why why Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Baccarat Rouge 540 is so loved. It's gorgeous too!

Ikon 914 is a great dupe for Baccarat Rouge, I had no idea of this and just smelt it in a perfume shop and liked it so bought it but since I've started wearing it I get so many people asking me if I'm wearing Baccarat Rouge.

Whilst I save up for a bottle of Baccarat Rouge 540 & I'll get thee down to the Fragrance Shop as they have Ikon 914 at £25 for 20ml.

Back to Beauty Advents I'm hoping my M&S one will arrive early (It's due to arrive by 7 November) as some of my order came today though it wasn't due till Tuesday.

Origins calendar is now £79.20. I think it was £99.

Anyone opening one throughout November? I'm undecided. Two during December is too much. If I do Dec/Jan I get bored and rip the lot open early Jan. but wondering if I do one in nov if I will be bored in Dec. Argh

M&S Beauty Advent Calendar came today.
I checked everything in it was ok & have put it back in the box & it's living in my wardrobe till December 1st.

I see Harrods is now Sunday 6th Nov… they did say mid October on one IG post…

I was quite keen on the Harrods one at one point. I've bought the JL one and might have gone for two but, as I am now over the initial calendar excitement/frenzy, going to stick with what I've got.

Will be interesting to see uptake.

Hi. The Cult beauty advent calendar with code FIRST15 is down to £211.5 plus goody bag as well.
A few days ago the goody bag was excluded from this promotion, but right now is going with advent calendar.

That's really annoying. The first15 code didn't work when I got mine originally, even though I created a new account so I could use it.

I'm now sulking and regretting buying it so early. Mind you, any other year, it would have been long gone by now.

OchonAgusOchonOh you have right, it didn't work. But now is working plus goody bag. I bought Liberty in full price.
I have 3 calendars in this year: Liberty London, Harrods Fragrance and Cult Beauty. I think it's enough for me.

They really aren’t selling this year. I too regret not waiting a little longer, but we didn’t know they’d still be here.

They’re in a strange position this year, aren’t they. If they reduce the prices/add incentives like GWP, they’ll annoy the most loyal customers who purchased their calendars early (and thereby risking their future business) - and if they don’t, they won’t be able to sell them.
I haven’t bought one yet as I suspected this would happen, but I’m also trying to cut spending in general so I think I’ll hold off unless there is an offer I just can’t ignore..

Yes I'm sure that most of the big ones had sold out by November last year.

Not a good sign of what's to come for the luxury beauty brands.

Maybe we'll see fewer calendars next year

I also realised with CB that if you use the code First15, the goodie bag disappears out of the basket, so it looks like you can only have one or the other.

I wonder if we’ll see some of the AC contents in GWP next year for exactly that reason.

I'm curious to see who's going to sell out first! My guess was John Lewis or Cult Beauty but both are still in stock at the moment.

@PomRuns I think you’re right, it seems likely that will happen. Given that very few calendars have sold out yet and we’re already in November, some companies would probably need to offer closer to 30/40% reductions to get rid of them before December and I don’t think they’d get away with doing that. Many might just sit on them and divide the contents out into a few GWP next year
