Is this dress inappropriate for a wedding?

My boyfriend said he thinks this dress isn't appropriate for a wedding because it's red? This is new to me? The last two weddings we've been to I've wore red and he didn't say anything. So I'm just wondering what peoples thoughts are is this appropriate?

Looking at the dress... personally I do think it's a bit too much arm/boob/leg flesh but if you've got the body to wear it, go for it!

I once got told by the bride (white) at a Hindu ceremony (before the wedding) to 'cover up' as I'd worn a sort of lacey top (a bit low cut but not much) with a pale pink knee length skirt suit. My other friend who was there was wearing a long dress but showed so much cleavage she certainly looked a bit much but nothing was said to her. This bride hated me though and only invited me as she felt she had to, we had friends in common and would've looked very bad if I wasn't invited!

It is a lot of personal information to be putting out. Even if you’re happy with whatever you’ve posted already being identifiable as you, you may forget in the future and post something you wouldn’t want people you know IRL to know.
