New thread for us all to continue the Toast love ...

Great customer service from Toast this week - I have a favourite denim workwear jacket from a few seasons ago and when I wore it on Monday I lost a button. Looked everywhere for it, ruined my day out, and then I couldn’t find any spares when I got home.
I got in touch with Toast and sent a picture of the button and asked whether they could supply a spare, they have very kindly sent me a whole set of buttons as the design has changed slightly on the more recent jackets. I am really impressed (and happy) 😊 .

Have to agree refunds have been very quick so far this time. I have ordered the teardrop pyjama bottoms to try as summer trousers, and a cream T-shirt to pair them with, but I think the T-shirt may be a mistake on reflection.

Another one here with good reports of prompt refunds. I received an order, returned it and had money back in account all in less than a week. More like the Toast we knew and loved. 👍

It my quest to repurpose my Toast to get maximum use out of them, today I wore the brick pyjama top as a jacket with tailored shorts from boden and a linen vest and someone in Costa admired it. I refrained from saying ‘it’s pyjamas!’

@TheChattyRat , you will be pleased to know that my JL bargain streak continues! I woke up in the early hours to check the by-election results (sad politics geek) and I randomly searched Toast on the JL website; I could not believe my luck when a few items popped up and I managed to bag a Fern Print Dress at £58.50, instead of £195. I’m not really familiar with the dress but, if everything Toast I’ve ever owned, it’s the gowns and dresses that have brought me the most pleasure and proven to be the most versatile garments in my wardrobe.

I’m really delighted with all of my sales purchases, and most especially the patchwork and Ikat gown, the Olive Oil shirt dress, and the linen wheat bag set in Citrine & Balsam. DD1, who has significant additional needs and rarely leaves her bedroom, is out doing twilight sailing with Rangers and DD2 is having a sleepover with grandma, ahead of a forest school party early tomorrow. I have enjoyed relaxing with the eye bag on, breathing in the exquisite organic essential oils, and listening to podcasts in an EMPTY house! Oh, and I also love my yellow marl stripe socks, and our linen wax wraps. And I have ordered the pink t-shirt that came online yesterday evening.

I'm also loving the olive oil shirt dress @SmaugMum . What a deal on the fern print dress! What does it look like?

I'd bought the cord dress from JL but sent it back. Honestly, I'm like an addict when i see cut price Toast items.

I've got a package coming today with the white circle tee and the olive neat sweater (why is it called neat when it looks loose and slouchy?).

Two parcels next week, one with the woodbine shirt dress, and one with two pairs of pjs and two dresses, the blue check and the pathwork).

Package arrived! The "white" tee is more cream with a hint of sage, which is unexpected but preferable and easier to maintain. The olive jumper is heavier than expected but also looks durable and is a perfect slouchy fit.😀

I only kept the cornflower stripey top from my first sale order (second one is on its way). The plum circular top was returned (very strange neckline for me) as well as Fracap tan sandals and the La Botte ones.

I’m a newbie to Toast but have just added the Annie indigo jeans, Oxford shirt in white & the patch pocket shirt in spice to my wardrobe. Very happy with them.
I’m still figuring out sizing, fit etc and desperately want to go to a Toast shop. Hoping to get to the one in Bath this week.

Bought a few things in the sale, working on a one in/ one out basis!
Have completely over hauled my stuff, have one wardrobe section for spring/summer and one for autumn/ winter.
No space unless something goes and nothing in storage 🙂

Some returns online - I was happy to snaffle a seed dress.

So had my sale parcels.
Grey culottes. Awful on me. So stiff and so long and neat on the waist.
The grey wool small bag [ cant remember its name] Nothing great. Both returned and refunded today. Super quick.
2 parcels arrived this morning. 2 parcels going back.
The bright yellow garment dyed dress.[ Not in the sale but wanted to try this colour as I have the grey and the lime] Just way too bright. Like a highlighter pen literally. Gorgeous if you are looking for a throw over but not for the dismal weather of Scotland. It was also very see through. I am assuming it is because of the light colour. I ordered the 12 in the sand coloured Alix. Huge puffiness at crotch. All returned!
