@mistermagpie Eilish is brilliant. I've been at a lot of the events she's at, and she's very lovely IRL. And yes she's thin, but has been built that way since being a kid - there are pics of her racing as a junior and she's always had those incredibly long legs (and amazing form!)

I think she looks stunning, a very different look for her.

I like Roland M and the dress and I don't she looks at all haggard for a 40 year old. No, she's not perfectly smooth skinned but she has three kids and is in her 40s, not her 20s.

I'm not counting back far enough,. Size 8 was rare in the 80s and even into the 90s but beyond that my point stands. I have a ball gown from the late 80s which says it's a 10. It isn't- it's a modern 4 or 6. I've got skirts and dresses from the early 90s which say they are 10s. They are modern 4s or 6s.

Your 1997 "size 8" was probably what would have been a 10 in 1987 or 1977. It's painfully obvious if you buy vintage clothes just how much sizes have expanded.

I would agree with you about the sizing. Size ten thirty five years ago was much smaller than it is now.

I'm a big fan too, I'm a runner and I love how honest she is about things like periods and weight and what kind of training she does. She always answers questions on Facebook and things too, she's brilliant.

I'm not keen on the dress, an exception to my usual view of what the Duchess of Cambridge wears though.

I'm sure anyone on who has nannies private chef, PT, dietician, stylist, hairdresser, dermatologist etc on their payroll would look amazing.

They look exactly the same. I don't like that dress as much as others she has worn but she still looks lovely.

I'd rather look like Kate and have her physique than most 41 year old women - give me a toned body anyway instead of a tyre for a belly

I love the dress and think she looks great.

I thought it was awful on her! She's beautiful and seems like a lovely if bland lady, but the hair and eyeliner do her no favours.

She is incredibly slim, and it's unlikely to be a healthy weight. This is beginning to show and, actually, I know many women aged 40 with 3 children who have aged better.

I preferred her bouncy curls, personally, they softened her features. The dress colours don't do her any favours either.

No green eyed monster here, before anyone starts. If anything I feel quite sorry for her. The pressure to perform/conform must be huge and, if the rumours are true they more than likely are she's put up with plenty from those who are supposed to love and protect her in the last 10 years... I certainly wouldn't swap places!

Tess Holliday is known because she's fat and promotes being overweight.

The previous poster is correct that if people pointed out that someone in the public eye for other reasons looked fat/overweight, there would be an outcry.

I think she looks gorgeous. Green eyed monster? - Yes. I'd love to have those toned arms ( but obviously not enough to do the work involved in having them).

The dress and hair look lovely, and when she smiles it lights up her face. However, the make up does her no favours and is quite ageing. The heavy eyeliner on the lower lid, just doesn’t seem to work for her like it once did.

Not keen on the white band. She looks restrained and it cuts her body in two. Nice earrings!
