She has significant muscle tone. Yes, she's thin but I don't think unhealthily so because she looks fit and healthy.

I knew she would go.for a simpler dress this time. I think it's great. Not something I would ever choose but that's not the point - she has a beautiful figure and she has chosen a dress that shows it off. Good for her. And I am loving the fact that she seems.to have ditched the very long, very bouncy curls.

Re looking old/“haggard”, I think part of it is that we’re all used to seeing looks like that a) on models in their teens/twenties and b) photoshopped. So an actual adult woman, unphotoshopped, is a surprise.

But this is what she does? In a family who’s existence is completely out of step with the modern world I somehow feel she’s even more of a throwback (probably because she didn’t come from that world and actively chose to marry in). She married well and she looks pretty. I’m sure she’s a very nice woman but if we had a thread talking about her achievements we’d probably struggle to get far…

I think Kate's been desperately channelling Diana for a while now. She even stood on the steps of the maternity wing in a red dress with a white collar. She was so natural and relaxed before they married, but I think the weight of the crown is already heavy on her head.

How about people talk about what she actually does instead.

I don't actually know anything about her. Her likes, dislikes, opinions, etc. She has to toe the line in every respect, it's sad that that's still what society requires of women marrying into the Royal family.

I'm laughing at some of these comments. Hilariously mean girls although I don't think any of them are girls. Not quite in 'the spirit of the site' or the spirit of this section.
As for being too thin. 🙄 My mum had 6 DCs and was thinner than Kate her whole life. She ate well. Metabolism and activity levels have a massive impact.

I think she looks amazing, full stop. And we have all got used to larger sized people look back at photos of normal people in the 60s and 70s you will be hard pressed to find many overweight people, then processed food, although that’s for another thread.

I think the outfit is lovely and I’m now tempted to try Botox as I think she looks great. She doesn’t look too thin here although she has looked very thin in some recent outfits. She naturally has a very small frame though. I’m the same height and I’m sure I’d look massive next to her as I have broader hips and shoulders.

I think she looks great, seems a very nice level headed good role model. I don't feel she is trying to chanel Diana, who was by no means perfect. I think she is just doing the best she can in the role she has taken on. Who would want to be a woman in the public eye when the nastiest critics are other women.

How can people say she looks haggard?! she looks amazing. She's thin, yes, but as a pp said people's idea of normal is totally skewed these days.

I'm not that keen on the dress as I'm not really into black and white together but hats off to her for trying out a new hairstyle. I'd love to see her with shoulder length hair, or a long bob. I think it would look great on her and would lift her face, long hair can drag down your face, iykwim
