Yes the fashiom of hair is modern, but severity like that can be aging. I thought that about Coleen R as well in the press this week. She looks stunning though. The whole look, dress, smooth centre-parting, v dark hair, is very Duchess of Sussex style!

Exactly this. Tell me how many other 41 year old women in regular life look as good as Kate? Not many.

And I don't care she has money etc she still looks good better than most after three kids for her age.

I honestly find it really sad when people say she's too thin. She is not, we have become distorted in what is 'normal'

I've posted about this before. SIL met the DoC as part of her job and there were lots of official photos. SIL is very fit and healthy, she's a runner who regularly runs ultramarathons and has a BMI in the middle of the healthy range, she has a lovely figure and in comparison to most people she looks very 'slim'. But the DoC was tiny in comparison so at best DoC must be at the very bottom of the healthy range.

I think it's a shame that the royals feel the need to resort to artifical means to keep looking good. Happy for Kate to keep herself healthy but wouldn't it be amazing to see a famous beautiful woman aging without face lifts or botox or fillers or hairdye. It would be such a powerful counterbalance to celebrities.

I'm not a fan of the overall look and don't think it is her most flattering but her earrings are fabulous and as always she project happiness at being there which is priceless. I loved her Bond premiere look.

The too thin bit drives me nuts. My sister is just as thin as this and has been all her life (nearly 60 now) - if anything slightly thinned now than she was in her 30s - she glams up really well and wears lovely clothes. My aunt the same. And a close friend also (although she doesn't bother with clothes). Some people are thin.

I used to think she was just very slim, but in the last few months I think she's gotten even thinner. I don't know her so who knows if she's healthy or not but I admit I would be worried if my loved one had a waist that small.

I do love the dress though, a nice change from her usual style (which she also looks lovely in!).

She is not "too thin".

People are getting fatter. I've got clothes from 25- 30 years ago which are too beautiful to throw away and the labels say size 10. Compared to a 2022 size 10 they are size 4 or 6 (which didn't even exist then- it was a struggle even to get a size 8)

I'm not hugely keen on the dress.

I don’t like the dress or the the hairstyle. It’s too severe on her and doesn’t do anything for her. I also think she looks tired and strained. William always looks absolutely miserable these days. He looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders.

I love love love the earrings! Although I like the dress, I don't think it does her any favours tbh compared to some of her previous ones. She's worn some outstanding ones over the years but this one will be forgotten soon.
What I really wish though was she got the "right person" to do her eyebrows! "Eyes are the window to the soul and the eyebrows frame it". When I stand in front of sb with asymmetrical eyebrows I can't concentrate - it's like the mouth moves but my brain can't get past the lack of symmetry.

I agree, and if posters made the same harsh comments about MM there would be cries of "racist". I find many of the comments on threads like this scream envy.

I think she looks good. I would spend more time pursuing thinness (separate to health) if I were constantly photographed as well.

I actually think the shape of the dress suits her, but the black and white aren’t ideal. She can look great in all black, but white saps her of colour. Also, I think it was a little too long (which is crazy given how tall she is). I also like the straight hair. Glad to see the move away from faux-natural waves.

I love the fact shes ditched the bouncy curls, looks so much modern. There's got to be a new stylist on the scene. I don't love the sinewy arms but like the bolder dress choice.

I don’t think she’s too thin, certainly not underweight. She does look like she she is very, very slim, and exercises a lot.

That dress is stunning. I have no time for the Royals but do think Kate is beautiful. And I agree -she's not "too thin". We're all just accustomed to normalising overweight.

She has all the help she could ever need. Free beauty treatments, amazing clothes, a home gym probably. The best food, a cook. Personal trainer etc. So of course she’s not on a par with the rest of us.
I do think it’s a shame she feels she has to have Botox.

She looks tired because white and black don’t suit her colouring. Too harsh against her face.
