This looks like a 'broney' thing
Yes that's how it looks to me, too. I have been involved with a My Little Pony online game for nearly 2 decades now, we don't seem to have any overt bronies but that's how I came to hear about them. The website I'm on was originally made by an MLP fan's partner so she could play pony games, create pony worlds and breed virtual ponies online with others. It's a great game if you like that sort of thing - very niche. Most players are adults although there are some kids, it's a G-rated game and forum so nothing untoward there.
I object to the toy unicorns being called 'toddler's toys', though! Some of us adults love collecting toys of all types! I'm sorry but I did chuckle at the outrage over the model 'petting his toy unicorn'. I mean, what else would you do with it?
I don't like the picture much, he/she looks like a nefarious clown that might be up to no good once you turn your back. The unicorns are cute, though! I might want one...
