@neveradullmoment99, I too love that dress on you but I am also a big fan of orange. I looks particularly great in the first picture. I would buy it myself but I already have one too many cord dresses x

I see JL is dropping its price match promise..
However I really only ever used it for Toast, which of course has sadly gone from their range (or for its own sale stuff) .

Just been catching up with the thread as I’ve been so busy I’d got behind!
I hope you’re feeling a bit better @ilovecherries, that sounds sore and you definitely deserve a treat.
I’ve just ordered the jeans belt in black as I keep looking at it and it’ll never go in the sale. Loved the novestas @faustina lovely colours, sizing sounds a bit of bother though.

My order arrived with the free Kindred silk scarf which is gorgeous.

The Indigo Denim dress is lovely, really really like the way they have done the straps on this one as its quite aprony and a nice length.
Having said that I cant see it being that flattering to the larger bust as it would give a side boob effect depending on how large busted you are.
Im 32FF and a size 12 in RL.
From the reviews I went 2 sizes down to an 8 and its nicely roomy.
Wierd sizing but its my favorite denim pinafore and I have at least 5 it might be 6 Blush

The Garment Dyed Linen easy dress -I was all for sending this back as I thought it might be underwhelming.
I was wrong!
I ordered a small and it fits perfectly, I love the neckline and it falls beautifully.
Im trying justify another colour !

I really like the pockets on the denim skirt someone mentioned up thread.
Hss anyone tried it on in RL?
How does it come up size wise?

I love the easy dress. It is on my list to buy. What colour did you get? I love the lime colour.

I like the cord dress on you @neveradullmoment99. Are the boots you are wearing solovair?
I have succumbed to buying and have ordered the cord dart trousers - not that they are very seasonal but my size was oos and came back in. Kindred gift included too - exciting!

I do have solovair monkey boots but the ones I have are Dr martens church boots that are similar. I got them because the solovair dig into my ankle bone, so can only wear them for a day. The church boots are super comfy. I think the Solovair just need to be worn in but I can't take the pain!

The dress is lovely on you, never, and I bet it is perfect for your colouring.

I'm feeling much better, thank you, amethyst. I got my stitches out this afternoon, and I feel MUCH more comfortable without them, even though I've still got steristrips and dressings - had rather hoped I'd be dressing free tonight. It looks much better than I feared to be honest, I'm pleased with the job the plastic surgeon has done.

@escapingthecity Do you wear all of your other blue stripy tops? If so then I would go for this one as it’s a tried and tested wardrobe staple for you. Do I need another blue linen shirt? No. Will I buy one ? Highly likely - it’s the promise of crisp but soft summer days. #enabler 😊

Well, my first Vinted purchase from my wee spree last week arrived. I should have learned my lesson from past eBay experiences. The top smells and is stained and is very well worn, despite being described as in new condition. It was packed so badly that it was half hanging out of the thin brown paper too. It was just a layering tshirt from Cos, and I didn’t pay very much for it, but that’s hardly the point. Why do people think it’s ok to sell their junk and lie about it? I’m not hopeful now about the Toast jumpsuit and trousers I also bought.
Lesson learned.

The nasturtium cord dress looks a wonderful shape on you @neveradullmoment99! I noticed it online, but there's no way I can pull off orange. Now hoping for more colours - it's lovely.

@ScottishMouse I got my first Vinted order today (a Toast which I have and love in a smaller size which doesn't fit me now) and it was in great condition. I hoped I might be able to offload some nice stuff from Boden/Toast/Hobbs etc but the ideal price point seems to be below a tenner so I might have to try eBay

Hermes just delivered me two more Vinted/Depop purchases. One is another Cos tshirt. It looks and smells ok, but was literally rolled in a ball into an envelope far too small for it. A good wash will see it right though.
The Toast trousers also arrived. Covered in pet hair!
I really do not understand people. I Used to sell on eBay quite a lot, and was so careful to only send things in a condition I would like to receive items in. I like to buy secondhand, but this has put me off (again) for some time.

@ScottishMouse ah I’m sorry. I sell a lot on eBay (but I’m very concentrated periods, spaced far apart because it’s so all-consuming) and like you, my ‘as new’ descriptions are just that. I stopped buying on eBay years and years ago because I ended up with crap I didn’t wear, I was seduced into buying a Toast dress last summer and I haven’t even worn it. I don’t think I will ever buy again - even for BNWT there might’ve smells/pet hair. It just doesn’t work for me, I’d rather pay full price and be able to return.

Yep @Saurus72, I think I’m realising it doesn’t work for me either. I ironed the trousers and gave them a good going over with a lint roller and they look fine now. But they don’t fit! I was sure they would as I used to have the same one in a smaller size, but I have clearly put on more weight than I thought, as these ones are still rather tight.
